Beyoncé – Happiness lyrics

[Intro:]
Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! (repeat x3)

[Verse 1:]
They scream, stop breathin’
Queen Bey on the scene, they fleein’
You can talk all ya want, keep feedin’
Main course, you the season’
I been rollin’ in high places livin’ larger than life
I kept it real from the beginning, why he made me his wife
You see it’s dignity and privacy that sets us apart
Stay hatin’ on my happiness, it’s to my happiness

[Pre-Hook:]
Sold out shows
Records broke
Millions sold
I been grindin’ hard since I was six years old
Now I’m on the throne
Say what you want
You ain’t never seen it done like this before

[Hook:]
Moment of silence, we put the haters to sleep
They tryin’ to stop us from shinin’, we throwin’ S-H-A-D-E
But I’m so done with the kindness cause they must think that I’m weak
Listen, this will be the first and the last time I speak

See I be hitting em’ with the silent treatment
(Y’all kill em’ all, I’m gon’ kill em’ all)
Hitting them with the silent treatment
(Dun, dun kill em’ all)
Killin’ em’ with the silent treatment
(Y’all kill em’, I’m gon’ kill em’ all)
Hitting em’ with the silent treatment
(Dun, dun, kill em’ all)

[Verse 2:]
Muzzle removed
I say a lot, I got nothin’ to prove
No quick fix, no short cuts, no back route
Bitch, please, I paid my dues
I done broke every record in the book that I done wrote, wrote, wrote
I done broke every barrier but I’ve never been broke, broke, broke
It’s no coincidence, it’s diligence that sets us apart
You stay hatin’ on my happiness, it’s to my happiness

[Pre-Hook:]
Sold out shows
Records broke
Millions sold
I been grindin’ hard since I was six years old
Now I’m on the throne
Say what you want
You ain’t never seen it done like this before

[Hook:]
Moment of silence, we put the haters to sleep
They tryin’ to stop us from shinin’, we throwin’ S-H-A-D-E
But I’m so done with the kindness cause they must think that I’m weak
Listen, this will be the first and the last time I speak

See I be hitting em’ with the silent treatment
(Y’all kill em’ all, I’m gon’ kill em’ all)
Hitting them with the silent treatment
(Dun, dun kill em’ all)
Killin’ em’ with the silent treatment
(Y’all kill em’, I’m gon’ kill em’ all)
Hitting em’ with the silent treatment
(Dun, dun, kill em’ all)

[Bridge:]
What you say? I can’t hear
What’s your name? You ain’t on my radar
What you say? Baby, I can’t hear
What’s your name? You ain’t on my radar

[Hook:]
Moment of silence, we put the haters to sleep
They tryin’ to stop us from shinin’, we throwin’ S-H-A-D-E
But I’m so done with the kindness cause they must think that I’m weak
Listen, this will be the first and the last time I speak

Hitting them with the silent treatment
(Dun, dun kill em’ all)
Killin’ em’ with the silent treatment
(Y’all kill em’, I’m gon’ kill em’ all)
Hitting em’ with the silent treatment
(Dun, dun, kill em’ all)

(Dun, dun)
Kill em’ all
(Dun, dun)
Kill em’ babe
(Dun, dun)
Kill em’ all
