Joey Badass and XXXTentacion Announces Joint Album Fans Says Don’t

Joey Badass and XXXTentacion announced a joint album, but fans are saying no don’t do it.

Some fans think that X is too much of a polarized artist for Joey Badass to be entangled with but nevertheless, the New York rapper cosigned working with the “Look At Me” MC so it’s safe to believe they will not listen to the pushback from the fans and push forward with the project. “Why would Joey want to dumb down his music to work with these whack rapper, issa no go for me,” one fan wrote.

X was the first to announce the album in one of his usual series of posts on IG Stories. “xxxtentacion x joey badass collaboration tape,” the South Florida rapper wrote to which JB responded saying, “Letsgoooo.” Joey Badass released a new single “King To A God” last weekend got his fans pumped for his new project. But the Pro Era rapper didn’t get the response he was expecting from fans when he cosigned a collaborative album with XXXTentacion.

Here is what happened after that announcement came out.

i looooooove Joey badass but he just said something on his IG about working with xxxtentacion and i'm so disappointed

— MJ (@grimewood) January 20, 2018

@joeyBADASS is a top 5 rapper. XXXtentacion isn't even a top 100. this makes no sense.

— Mounir Dahdah (@mounir_dahdah) January 21, 2018

@joeyBADASS I’m praying you don’t do a collaboration with the trash that is better known as @xxxtentacion. Please. You’re better than this.

Am I the only one depressed that @joeyBADASS is collabing with @xxxtentacion? #devastated

— silvercloudv2 (@silvercloudv2) January 21, 2018

There were a handful of fans who cosigned the project, mostly XXXTentacion fans, but Joey’s clan didn’t approved of it.

2018 will be the greatest year of music if that @xxxtentacion and @joeyBADASS collab tape is real / released.

Hip Hop Reacts To Fredo Santana’s Untimely Death

The hip hop community is reacting to Fredo Santana’s untimely death and the tributes are pouring in.

The Chicago rapper died on Friday of a reported seizure. Sources say he passed away from kidney and liver failure, while other reports suggested it was a seizure that ultimately claimed his life. His death once again sparked an outcry for musicians to stop taking drugs and rappers to stop drinking lean. Santana’s close friend and frequent collaborator, Maxo Kream, was the first person to break the news to fans. We’re told that he is taking the death very hard.

“Damn man I’m lost for words right now I’m cryin my ass off Fredo I love yu B**ch RIP a real Savage,” he wrote. Other rappers like Drake, Lil B, Lil Pump, Joey Badass, Travis Scott, ASAP Twelvy, and Fredo Santana’s cousin and fellow Chicago rapper Chief Keef all paid tribute to the late MC.
