The expert assessed the possibilities of the MES for Russian schools

Teachers in all regions will now be able to use the digital educational platform “Moscow Electronic School” (MESH). MES now contains 1.7 million lesson scripts, instructional videos, presentations and other educational materials that teachers can use free of charge when preparing and conducting classes, said aif.ru Tatiana Mertsalova, leading expert of the HSE Institute of Education.

“In fact, this will not be new to everyone. In 2020, during the pandemic, the regions used the MES quite actively. And this helped many, became a lifesaver for teachers when a mass distance arose. Therefore, the fact that such an opportunity appears for everyone, – it's great. It is very important that at the same time such products develop and improve further, and attention is paid not only to the availability, quality of communication and servers, but also to the quality of content. Probably in the future we will come to the fact that such digital products will receive quality certification so that educators can navigate and choose the best, –  Mertsalova said.

Recall that the Moscow Electronic School began to be developed in the capital's education in 2016-2017. Now it's – a unique platform that combines an electronic diary for students, an electronic journal for teachers, as well as a variety of teaching aids in electronic form.

Earlier today, the press service of the mayor of the capital reported that Federal State Information “My School” system will be created on the basis of the Moscow Electronic School (MES). It was also reported that over the summer, 27.5 thousand educational materials were uploaded to the library of the Moscow Electronic School.

Russian School Principal spoke about the prospects of MES in education

Platform «Moscow Electronic School» can be an additional opportunity to conduct more varied and interesting lessons. This was told to aif.ru by the director of the “School of the Future” Alexey Golubitsky in the Kaliningrad region.

“At the moment, paper textbooks and the traditional lesson remain the main ones, which do not lose their relevance and effectiveness, – says Alexei Golubitsky. – But in order to make the lesson more diverse, interesting and productive, to simplify the test (not to interview one student, but all at once), electronic resources come to the aid of teachers. Our school already uses various electronic educational platforms. “Moscow Electronic School” may be another opportunity for the teacher.

The teacher emphasizes that the final decision – use resource or not – accepted by the teacher. “If he believes that the resource is useful for him, that it allows him to give material to children in a particularly convincing and effective way, then he turns it on,” – says the principal of the school.

The law on education contains a norm on the academic freedom of the teacher, that is, the teacher himself has the right to choose the forms and methods of teaching.

«Moscow Electronic School» in general, it has proved to be quite good, – notes Alexey Golubitsky. – I think that teachers will react with interest and pick up something for themselves there. But it is not expected to replace traditional lessons with only electronic resources.

Earlier it was reported that on the basis of the Moscow Electronic School (MES) a federal state information system “My School” will be created.

Will the owner of the land be forced to put out the fire?

“Arguments and Facts” Weekly No. 35. Came to the Complete East 08/31/2022

A bill is being prepared, according to which land owners will be required to report fires in the fields and help extinguish them. And what what's the point? Hasn't been done like this before?

Expert Response 0 + –

— Previously,                  says coordinator of the WWF-Russia Forestry Program Konstantin Kobyakov. — The result was a story: the landowner decided to burn last year's grass in his field in the spring (which is forbidden), threw a match, and it caught fire. Then the fire spread to the neighboring forest, a large natural fire started. They come to  they ask: “Did you burn the grass?” And he replies: “No, it was someone who drove by, threw a cigarette butt.” And that's all, you can bring him to responsibility, it is very difficult to prove arson.

To rectify the situation, the Ministry of Agriculture, together with Ministry of Natural Resources and Ministry of Emergency Situations, prepared a new bill, according to which the owner will be obliged to report about  ;fire on their own land, and contribute to extinguishing it. That is not reported — already guilty, and whoever set it on fire does not play a role. So far, the bill does not include sanctions. But I think that the deputies will form all the necessary amendments to the Code of Administrative Offenses, and the CC of the Criminal Code. And  the practice of palov will be a thing of the past.

Aibolit from the zoo. The chief veterinarian of the Moscow Zoo about salvation and hope

How lost polar bear cubs and animals are rescued in Donbass, how tigers' teeth are treated, and how wild animals are anesthetized. Dmitry Egorov, head veterinarian of the Moscow Zoo, spoke about this and many other things aif.ru

Nikolai and Ayana

Yulia Borta, aif .ru: — Dmitry, recently the whole country followed the rescue by your colleagues of a polar bear, whose tin can was stuck in its mouth. Did you also have similar stories?

Dmitry Egorov:— A few years ago, a bear cub was rescued in Chukotka, in a very remote village of Ryrkaypiy. Apparently, the bear died, he was left an orphan and began to indulge and terrorize the local population. The bear patrol turned to the Moscow zoo with a request to adopt the animal, because an older animal could kill him. Rosprirodnadzor gave permission, and the Ministry of Defense provided the aircraft. We flew seventeen and a half hours to Anadyr. Then we waited five days for the weather. When they finally gave the go-ahead for takeoff, another 500 km flew by the Mi-26 helicopter. We already knew that the bear cub was lured into the space under an abandoned three-entrance two-story house (the houses there are on stilts) and filled up the exits with construction debris. When we got there, the weather began to change dramatically, there was a cyclone, and the helicopter pilots warned that we had two hours if we did not want to get stuck for several days.

It was necessary to manage to shoot (with an anesthesia syringe — ed. note) so accurately and from the first time it is desirable to fly away with him that day. The teddy bear was immobilized and put in a cage. Then there was a night at the airport. He, of course, shouted, was nervous. But we managed to feed him and still take him. Now he sits with the same rescued bear in the zoo of Nizhny Novgorod. His name is Nikolai, and the bear — Ayana. They already have a couple. We are waiting for offspring.

If the beast went out to people, then it will not return back?

— Differently. In such places, a bear patrol is actively working, which drives away polar bears, trying to return the beast to nature. Sometimes they can first immobilize and take them 300 km away. Zoo — an extreme case when it is not possible to drive away the beast, or when they understand that the animal will die in nature. Once in Yakutia, a polar bear walked 1,500 km deep into the mainland. This was the first such recorded case. Still, polar bears live near the coastline. Her return to nature was impossible. She could already do things, because she went to a densely populated area, as far as one can say about Yakutia. Now the bear is in the Moscow Zoo. She was given the nickname Tompa, after the name of the Tomponsky district where she was found. height=”600″ width=”450″ style=”display: block;” />

Hunt test

Do you have to save animals that have suffered from human hands? Can they be accepted into the zoo?

— Save the animal and attach it somewhere — it's still half the battle. With this help, there are no problems. But we cannot accept an animal from the street… For example, an owlet. What if he gets the bird flu? We will endanger the entire unique collection of birds.

In addition, we still save animals that are very valuable in terms of the rarity of the species and which are seized legally. If the animal is injured, then Rosprirodnadzor sends it to a specialized center. For example, a tiger, a leopard or a bear is immobilized, examined by doctors, then treated and fattened. Next is the test for hunting — whether the animal can catch the prey. If he fails this test, or has health problems, then a decision is made not to release him into the wild. It happens that a leopard lacks phalanxes of fingers (due to falling into a trap), such an animal will not hold its prey and will die of hunger. He just won't get his own food. Next, Rosprirodnadzor determines which zoo this or that animal will go to. First of all, they look to see if there are conditions for its maintenance. If the zoo cannot provide care for a leopard or a polar bear, food on a sufficient area, no one will give the animal to him. No matter how much he wants.

I know that you went to Donbass to help at the local zoo.

— We went with the deputy director of the Moscow Zoo Alexey Yuryevich Suslovas part of assistance to zoos in Donbass and Ukraine. The zoo is private, located about an hour's drive from Donetsk. Examined the animals, brought medicines, feed. Of course, everyone gets there now — both people and animals. Animals do not suffer less from shelling. Then the director of our branch — zoo in the estate of Father Frost Veliky Ustyug — visited the Dokuchaev Zoo in the DPR. Now humanitarian cargo is regularly sent there. We were the first signs.

Are there difficulties in providing animals with medicines and vaccines at the Moscow Zoo itself due to sanctions?

— We have made a strategic reserve. In addition, you can always find analogues of drugs that have become scarce. There are difficulties, but I can't say that they are insurmountable.

Beasts that can be cured can feel gratitude?

— Yes, it happens even in wild animals. Of course, they will not show excessive affection, like a domestic cat or dog. But, perhaps, they won’t run away, as before, when you pass by, they won’t growl strongly. Sometimes love is expressed in the fact that the animal ignores you, but before it could throw. This is also a kind of loyalty.

A dentist for a tiger, a cardiologist for an owl

How much more difficult is it to treat wild animals?

— Much harder than at home. Of course, in both cases we have — silent patient. But if a pet can be fixed and an ultrasound, X-ray, and blood can be taken, then the Amur tiger weighing 180 kg has to undergo general anesthesia for the same procedure. We solve a kind of crossword puzzle when, for one reason or another (if anesthesia is not given), we try to find a treatment. Our big helpers — zoologists and keepers who are assigned to certain animals. And when they say that someone's eyes are sad, or, say, the tiger is not in its usual place, refuses its favorite chicken, for us this is a reason to run and watch.

Medical trainings are very promising, when animals are accustomed to certain manipulations. For example, the same polar bear can learn to stick its paw into a special structure so that we can take an x-ray, take blood, or open its mouth so that we can examine the teeth. This is done using clickers, which are used in animal training.

Veterinarians also need to be able to shoot accurately.

— Often, remote administration of drugs is used. Flying syringes of a special modification are filled with an antibiotic, anesthetic (narcosis) or vitamins. There are many delivery systems — from modified blowguns to double-barreled shotguns with telescopic sights.

Can you remember the most unusual operation?

— The zoo has a lot of dental patients, including those from the wild. The tigers had pins in their teeth. More than one leopard, polar bear, harza (large marten — Ed.), wolverine have been cured of caries.

By the way, why do zoo animals live a long life? Because there is care, nutrition and medical care. We have a fossa (vaguely reminiscent of a cat – Ed.), who underwent surgery at 23 years old. Moreover, in captivity they usually live 16-18 years. Of course, the animal is in extreme old age, blind, has hearing problems. But we do not leave anyone to the mercy of fate. They decided, since he eats well, does not feel pain (and the doctor sees such things), to prolong the life of the old man. The skin tumor was successfully removed. Now he is 24.5 years old. He wanders around the enclosure and is not going to die.

Do animals also have tumors?

— Yes, they get sick all over, almost like people do. There was a case — cured the father of three snowy owl chicks from a stroke. An owl stroke looks something like a human — the eyes are closed, there is torticollis, uncoordinated movements. For diagnosis, the fundus of the eye also looks. They gave the father of the family medicines to improve the functioning of blood vessels, and he recovered.

It happens that during the rut, males in the heat of the moment can injure the female. Uncommon, but unfortunately it happens. This happens in nature too. So, after the “marriage games”, one female ram had to amputate a leg. And the second — build up bone throughout the year. The females are mature. On them, probably, it would be possible to put a cross. But they brought more cubs in a year than young ones who did not have health problems. One is single-legged, disabled, the second with an almost artificial leg. Here, please, is proof that one must always fight for life.

Dangerous selfie with a monkey

Do animals get stressed too?

— Stress — phenomenon is purely individual. A young tigress, who was preparing to be released into the wild, came to us from the Primorsky Territory for rehabilitation and treatment. But when she was immobilized and examined, it turned out that she had a serious problem with her teeth and necrosis of the lower jaw. She will not be able to keep the prey and will die. The animal has been with us for almost two weeks and still cannot get used to it, it is under severe stress.

And recently we took a cougar rescued from a traveling circus in Volgograd. Rosprirodnadzor decided to send it to our branch in Veliky Ustyug. The animal sat in a charity shelter along with cubs, monkeys and dogs, in a small enclosure. It is clear that where there was a place, they sheltered there. She was fed and nursed — many thanks to these people. We took her 1,600 km to the north. Released into a cage. They thought she'd be under a lot of stress after all she'd been through. But she went out and, as if nothing had happened, examined the enclosure, chose a place for herself, ate wonderfully.

Although in my practice, probably, cats are more prone to stress, because they are the most pampered. After transportation, they may not be suitable for food for 3-4 days. And no matter what — small cats in the form of a manul or a feline like the Amur tiger.

What advice would you give to zoo visitors?

— They are banal. When you visit the zoo, please do not feed the animals. They have a wonderful, specially selected diet. Some animals are on a special therapeutic diet. By treating the wrong person with a tangerine, marshmallow or chocolate bar, you can lead the animal to death. There have been such cases. Sometimes things are thrown into the cage to watch the animals play. And the doctors then have to get it out of them during the operation.

In the safety instructions for employees, it is not for nothing that the phrase always comes first: «Zoo — high-risk enterprise. It is clear that we and the visitors are on opposite sides of the barricades. But it’s better not to put a child in an aviary, not to take selfies with monkeys. Well, if this ends with the fact that the monkey takes the phone. And if together with the phone — knuckles, it will be much less fun. Sometimes you don't know what to expect from a domestic cat, dog or even a hamster. And then there are wild animals that are on their territory.

Top 10 Most Dangerous Animals

Polar bear. Today, eight species of bears are known to the world, and their habitats are Asia, South and North America, and Europe. The most terrible representatives, having impressive body sizes and ferocious habits, are brown and polar bears. Most bears are considered omnivores, but there is an exception – the polar bear. This carnivore, eating only animals, is not afraid of humans and has no enemies. A polar bear can reach speeds of about 60 km/h © Commons.wikimedia.org

Scorpion Leyurus is small in size, lives in Africa and the Middle East, and when he bites, the victim will experience severe pain, paralysis and death © Commons.wikimedia.org

African elephant. The elephant has excellent hearing and sense of smell, and is most dangerous during the mating season, as testosterone levels increase 60 times. Elephants kill between 500 and 600 people every year. When attacked, an elephant defends itself or its family. This giant can mistake a person for danger if he approaches too quickly or, for example, gets between the cub and mother © Commons.wikimedia.org

Crocodile. They live on all continents except Europe and Antarctica. In total there are 23 species of these animals. The most dangerous are the Nile and saltwater crocodiles. This amphibian feeds on everything that moves in the water. However, the habitat of the Nile crocodile is too closely adjacent to inhabited areas, so the predator regards humans as prey © Commons.wikimedia.org

A lion. This predator is the only one that needs a team to hunt, but to drive a prey larger in size is not a problem! It rushes at a speed of 50 km/h, despite an impressive weight of 150-250 kg and is able to jump over the fence, holding prey in powerful fangs © pixabay.com

Great white shark. In the open spaces of the sea, you cannot find a more terrible predator that lives in all open waters of our planet, with the exception of the Arctic Ocean. At risk are careless swimmers, surfers, divers and shipwrecks in the open ocean. The great white shark is one of the ten largest sharks in the world. Its length is 4.6-4.8 meters, but there are individuals that reach 6 meters in size © Commons.wikimedia.org

Rhinoceros have excellent hearing and sense of smell. A three-ton male black rhinoceros sees nothing already at a distance of 7 meters. But it has a long and sharp horn. He is ready to use this deadly weapon against any opponent that gets in his way © Commons.wikimedia.org

African buffalo. When talking about the black buffalo as one of the most dangerous animals, it means huge strength and sharp horns, with which it can attack and kill other animals in a few seconds. Even formidable lions are afraid to approach them and even more so to attack them. The size of the African buffalo exceeds the size of the human body by 4-5 times © Commons.wikimedia.org

The grizzly bear is a subspecies of the brown bear (Ursus arctos) found primarily in Alaska and western Canada. Usually grizzly bears avoid meeting with a person, but if contact has occurred, then it carries a great danger to humans. Grizzly bears are especially dangerous if they are disturbed while eating or while a female with offspring is nearby © Commons.wikimedia.org

Hippopotamus. Despite the fact that the hippopotamus is considered a herbivore, on occasion it adds an antelope or even a crocodile to its menu. 10 Most Dangerous Animals

The polar bear is capable of speeds of the order of 60 km/h ” width=”707″ style=”display: block;” />

However, the habitat of the Nile crocodile is too close to inhabited areas, so the predator regards humans as prey © Commons.wikimedia.org

Lev.

Rhino has excellent hearing and sense of smell.

The grizzly bear is a subspecies of the brown bear (Ursus arctos), found primarily in Alaska and western Canada. Usually grizzly bears avoid meeting with a person, but if contact has occurred, then it carries a great danger to humans. Grizzly bears are especially dangerous if they are disturbed while eating or when a female with offspring is nearby. © Commons.wikimedia.org

Behemoth. Despite the fact that the hippopotamus is considered a herbivore, on occasion it adds an antelope or even a crocodile to its menu. Cases of attacks on people are quite frequent, on account of hippos annually up to 3000 human victims. “The rubble was sorted out.” How the university of Mariupol, where the base of “Azov*” was being revived

How the university survived the hostilities when the headquarters of “Azov”* was located there, and why now you can enter there without exams, rector Larisa Sivolap told aif.ru.

Yulia Borta, aif.ru: — Larisa Anatolyevna, how did Russophobic ideology in  Ukraine?

Larisa Sivolap: — The rewriting of history, the rejection of studying the classics of Russian literature, the prohibition of the Russian language in the Russian-speaking region, of course, unequivocally negatively affected the humanitarian component of student training. That is why now we can state an insufficient number of qualified teaching staff in schools ready to provide the teaching of these particular disciplines. For its part, the university is ready to provide training in "History", "Russian language and"literature". Yes and in in in general, how could celebrate May 9, February 23rd? Why did the St. George's Ribbon have to cease to exist instantly, and why         the use of people should have been held criminally liable? Colleagues even talk about the  fines that the Ministry of Education of Ukraine imposed on the university based on the results of the inspection only because the s students spoke Russian in the corridors.

< strong>—   the university housed the headquarters of “Azov”…

— The result of the stay of “Azov” in the academic buildings of the university it can be said there. The degree of destruction of hulls is different, but all of them require significant repair and restoration. The blockages were removed in several buildings of the university by the efforts of the university staff. The uniform of the Ukrainian military, torn off chevrons, certificates, containers from alcohol, packaging from goods from looted stores, which were located near university — the scenery was more than eloquent.

— Are many teachers left with the beginning of the SVO?

— A lot of people stayed in their hometown. Many of those who temporarily traveled to the territory of the Russian Federation or the Donetsk People's Republic return by the beginning of the school year. And we are very pleased that during the working visit the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation Valery Nikolaevich Falkovnoted the special role of Mariupol State University in development of the city, and he also highly appreciated the enthusiasm and optimism of the MSU staff.

— Now you have a deficit frames?

— Practically all departments are currently provided with personnel, including  candidates, doctors of sciences. In the  further we hope for the fast professional growth of our colleagues who are planning to study at postgraduate and doctoral studies. And cooperation with universities of the Russian Federation is also important here. It's nice that the teachers of Russian universities are also ready for collaboration with Moscow State University: it holding open lectures, master classes, etc. Of course, it does not complete without difficulties. For example, all the teachers of the Department of History and Ukrainian Philology left for the territory of Ukraine. Probably, this is somehow connected with the specifics of the departments themselves and the disciplines they teach.

— A Will curricula change?

— Curricula are developed in accordance with educational standards of the DPR and RF. We managed to save almost all educational programs, according to which education was carried out at the university. Curricula, work programs of subjects, etc. are being prepared for approval. On the eve of the academic year, all university teachers take advanced training courses in the Russian Federation at the Don State Technical University (Rostov-on-Don) under the program “Actual Issues of Teaching in Higher Educational Institutions: Regulatory, Legal, Psychological and pedagogical and methodological support».

The main difficulty lies in restoring the academic buildings of the university, filling the scientific library, providing the university with equipment.

— What security measures will be taken, given the possible threats and terrorist attacks in liberated territories? Will will will there be military security, like in schools?

— Of course, we plan to install an access system and security during the restoration of the university buildings.

< strong>—  When do you plan to switch to the Russian USE system?

— We trust this academic year there will be no forced break in the educational process for schoolchildren of Donbass. We believe that all curricula will be 100% implemented, which will allow all applicants in 2023 to qualitatively and, most importantly, calmly prepare for the exam. On our part, we are ready to provide additional training in the disciplines of the school curriculum at the Pre-university Training Center of Mariupol State University.

—

strong> What do you expect from cooperation with Russia?

— Harmonization of educational processes with universities of the Russian Federation, prospects for professional growth of scientific and pedagogical personnel, implementation of joint projects aimed at providing high quality education.

Executive Secretary of the Admissions Committee Ekaterina Tkachenkoadded that the admissions campaign will end on November 16: “The deadlines have been moved, because first it was necessary to go through the university registration procedure. This year, the ministry has simplified the admission scheme. We will enroll on the basis of  grades in  education documents (certificates), because it was impossible to objectively conduct republican or state exams in the territory. Applicants had to register in advance and leave their data. Among them are not only residents of Mariupol, but also residents of other settlements of the DPR, as well as citizens of the LPR and the Russian Federation. A lot of people apply who are abroad or on the territory of Ukraine, but plan to return.

The most popular destination for applicants — this is a jurisprudence that has always been popular and still does lose its position. State and municipal administration, economics and management, psychology, information systems and technologies are also in great demand.

There will be a competitive selection for some specialties. For those who cannot pass it for free, we will offer other directions (the application could be submitted immediately for three specialties). A paid branch is also planned. There are already applications — for example, from those who want to get a second higher education in a specialty that is more in demand today. Although we more still focus on budget-funded places, and the ministry supports us in this. Not everyone can now afford paid education in Mariupol, because there are still so many jobs in the city.

Many graduates of the city schools went to preparatory courses. When they found out that we opened and were receiving, we were very happy. They remained in the city, and now they don't need to go anywhere to get higher education».

Those who were awarded for the operation in Ukraine were offered to give plots in the Crimea

The Ministry of Defense has proposed issuing free land plots in the Moscow region, Crimea and Sevastopol to participants in the military operation in Ukraine, awarded state awards and distinctions, and combat veterans

< img class="aligncenter" src="https://s0.rbk.ru/v6_top_pics/media/img/4/43/756621339578434.jpg" alt="Rewarded for the operation in Ukraine offered to give plots in the Crimea" />< /p>

Military personnel awarded state awards and departmental insignia for merit during the military operation in Ukraine, as well as combat veterans who participated in it, will be able to apply for free land plots in the Crimea and the Moscow region. This is stated in the draft presidential decree, which was developed by the Ministry of Defense. The document was published on the federal portal of draft regulatory legal acts.

It says that the executive authorities ‎of the Moscow Region, Sevastopol and Crimea are recommended to «adopt legislative acts ‎establishing the right of citizens to receive land ‎ownership free of charge».

The initiative is needed to provide additional social support to the military, employees of executive authorities, federal bodies in which the law provides for military service, awarded state awards and departmental insignia, as well as veterans of military operations, is specified in the project.

At the end of March, President Vladimir Putin signed a law according to which participants in the military operation in Ukraine are given the status of a combat veteran. Prior to this, only participants in military operations in Afghanistan, Chechnya and Syria had such a status. Veterans will also be recognized as civilians involved in the operation in Ukraine: we are talking about civilian personnel of the armed forces, repair teams, doctors and other specialists. In early August, Putin signed a law conferring this status on FSB servicemen involved in “repelling an armed invasion”.

In case of injury, combatants are entitled to a lump sum payment of 3 million rubles, and in the event of the death of a soldier, his family will pay 5 million rubles. In addition, the families of the victims are also entitled to benefits and provisions in the amount of 7.4 million rubles. In May, Putin instructed to increase payments, explaining that the participants in the hostilities were abroad and “that everything is equated to the exchange rate, the dollar in this case, and the dollar, as you know, shrinks, and the ruble strengthens.”

The head of the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine urged “not to touch” the Bulgakov Museum in Kyiv

The museum of the writer Mikhail Bulgakov does not need to be closed, said the Minister of Culture of Ukraine Oleksandr Tkachenko. He recalled that, despite criticism of Ukraine in his works, Bulgakov was a resident of Kyivian

Ukrainian Minister of Culture and Information Policy Oleksandr Tkachenko opposed the initiative to close the museum of the writer Mikhail Bulgakov in Kyiv, which was previously proposed by the secretariat of the National Union of Writers of Ukraine.< /p>

«Bulgakov— resident of Kiev. Yes, in some works of art he had, I emphasize, replicas of certain heroes regarding the liberation struggle of Ukraine at the beginning of the 20th century. But I think that the museum is definitely not to blame. Neither a museum, nor a monument,»— he said, pointing out that the writers' union has other issues that need to be addressed (quote from UNIAN).

Tkachenko separately emphasized that his position is unambiguous and “the museum should not be touched.”

>

On August 31, the secretariat of the National Union of Writers of Ukraine proposed instead of the Bulgakov Museum in Kyiv to create a museum of the Ukrainian composer Alexander Koshyts, who lived in this house until 1906. The writers proposed to transfer the exhibits of the Bulgakov Museum to the National Museum of Literature.

The writers substantiated such a proposal by the fact that the museum of the writer who “violently hated Ukraine and its independence, and also denigrated it in his works as best he could” should not work in Kyiv. As an example of such works, the novel “White Guard” is given. The writers also stated that Bulgakov is the “ideologist of the Russian world”; and “one of the most insidious enemies of Ukraine.”

Museum director Lyudmila Gubianuri, commenting on the initiative of the Writers' Union, said that he “did not use all his weapons.” “Before they initiate the closure of the Bulgakov Museum, they must initiate the expulsion of Bulgakov from the Writers' Union and the deprivation of citizenship for anti-Soviet activities. What they have been doing throughout their rich history,»,— quotes her words «KP in Ukraine».

Bulgakov was born in Kyiv in 1891, where he received his medical education at Kiev University. The writer first visited Moscow in 1917, and finally moved to the Russian capital in September 1921. In the house that is now his museum in Kyiv (House of Turbins), Bulgakov lived from 1906 to 1919. In 1929, he was accused of anti-Soviet propaganda, his plays were excluded from the repertoires of Moscow theaters, and his works were not published.

After a telephone conversation with Joseph Stalin in 1930, Bulgakov was able to get a job at the Moscow Art Theater, and was later admitted to the Writers' Union USSR. The novel “The Master and Margarita”, completed in 1940, was published only 26 years after the death of the writer.

In mid-August, from the wall of the building of the Institute of Philology of the Kyiv National University. Shevchenko removed Bulgakov's memorial plaque.

WSJ learned about the creation of a “group of tigers” in the United States to speed up the supply of weapons

A working group set up in August is tasked with identifying the causes of the ineffectiveness of the U.S. allied arms program and finding ways to speed up the process, writes

< img class="aligncenter" src="https://s0.rbk.ru/v6_top_pics/media/img/0/16/756621810782160.jpg" alt="WSJ learned about the creation of a "group of tigers" in the United States to speed up deliveries weapons" />

The Pentagon is seeking to speed up sales of US weapons to foreign allies, a task force was created to do this in August, writes the Wall Street Journal.

According to a senior Defense Department official, the so-called Tiger it remains to identify the reasons for the ineffectiveness of the American arms supply program, as well as find ways to speed up this process.

The publication calls the goal the opportunity to better compete with China and replenish the stocks of allies who have transferred their weapons to Ukraine.

In late March, the New York Times reported that the White House had formed a team to develop a response plan for Washington and its allies in case Moscow used nuclear weapons. Sources of the publication then explained that we are talking about the so-called “Tiger” group. This has been the designation of emergency response teams at the US National Security Council for many years, the newspaper noted. According to the NYT, the previous roster was developing scenarios for imposing tough sanctions, building up troops in NATO countries, and arming Ukrainian troops.

In mid-August, the Baltic and Eastern European countries asked the United States to increase defense production in order to speed up the fulfillment of orders for weapons to contain Russia. In particular, Poland is waiting for the promised American Patriot anti-aircraft missile systems, HIMARS MLRS, F-16 fighters and Abrams tanks, and Estonia wants to get HIMARS and Reaper attack drones.

The administration of US President Joe Biden is considering taking measures that would limit US investment in Chinese technology companies. This is reported by Bloomberg, citing sources.

According to one of the interlocutors of the agency, the president may sign a corresponding decree “in the coming months.” It is possible that separate steps will be taken in relation to the social network TikTok. The Commerce Department, according to the source, may impose additional restrictions on chips used for artificial intelligence systems.

The White House is also discussing legislation with Congress that would require companies to disclose in advance information about possible investments in certain sectors of the Chinese economy. added another source. In addition, the creation of a system that will allow the government to block investments directly is being discussed, but a final decision has not been made at the moment.

Last week, the US government informed the American company Nvidia about the introduction of new export licenses for China and Russia: now its products are prohibited from being sold to these countries. Under the new licensing requirements, restrictions apply to GPU (graphics processing unit) accelerators that meet certain performance criteria, such as the A100 and H100 series products. Such models are used to work with artificial intelligence and increase the performance of calculations at times.

The European Commission and Siemens spoke about the complete stop of the Nord Stream

Gazprom's decision provoked a strong reaction in Europe.

Russia's decision to stop “Nord Stream” considered “cynical” in the European Commission.

The head of the press service of the EC, Eric Mamer, writes about this on Twitter.

According to him, the decision confirms “unreliability” “Gazprom” as a supplier, and Russia, according to him, shows cynicism, as it burns gas instead of fulfilling the contract.

Recall that earlier “Gazprom” announced a forced stop of gas pumping through “Nord Stream” due to an oil leak in the gas compressor unit.

Against this background, representatives of Siemens Energy announced their readiness to participate in the repair of the turbine.

According to RIA Novosti, the company clarified that now to they have not received a contract to carry out repairs on the gas pipeline, but the company is ready to take up maintenance.

In addition, the organization noted that they took note of the statement “Gazprom” about problems with the engine. However, the company does not believe that the problems described by the Russian company can serve as a reason for stopping “Nord Stream”.

In turn, the American media report that Berlin is trying not to panic because -for the situation with “Nord Stream”.

At the same time, Germany and a number of other EU countries are preparing for a cold winter due to lack of fuel.

In the USA believe that the impact of “Gazprom” severe pressure on the German economy. Because of this, the country is preparing to introduce energy consumption norms.

In addition, Berlin is trying to establish gas supplies from Norway and Qatar, although these measures will not help the country much in the near future.

“Economy Minister Robert Habek said that Russian gas will not be completely replaced until at least 2024”, – reports CBS News.

Earlier, TopNews wrote that “Gazprom” stopped “Nord Stream” for an indefinite period.

The reasons for stopping the turbine became known to journalists.
