In the LPR announced the surrender of soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near Lisichansk and Severodonetsk

Ukrainian servicemen surrender along the entire front line in the area of Lysichansk, Severodonetsk and those taken into the cauldron of Gorsky and Zolote. About this on the air of “Channel One” Andrey Marochko, an officer of the People's Militia of the LPR, said.

“Along the entire front line in this area, both locally and en masse, surrender is taking place. This also applies to the Lysichansk-Severodonetsk grouping, this also applies to the Gorsko-Zolotovskaya grouping, — he said.

Marochko has no exact information on exactly how many people surrendered. However, he stated that as of 16:00 he was told about two groups of prisoners of ten people each.

Earlier this morning, LPR Ambassador to Russia Rodion Miroshnik announced a blockade of the settlements of Gorskoe and Zolotoe in the Severodonetsk region. Then the ambassador said that there were about 2,000 Ukrainian soldiers in the area, who, according to him, were sending signals about their readiness to surrender.

At the request of Roskomnadzor, RBC provides data about the details of the military operation in Ukraine based on information from Russian official sources.

Russian troops and LNR forces took control of Severodonetsk (since 2014 it was the regional center of the Luhansk region of Ukraine instead of Lugansk) at the end of May, reported Head of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov. Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said that the residential areas of the city were “liberated”, but Ukrainian military personnel remained in industrial areas, including the territory of the largest chemical plant in Ukraine, Azot.

Lysichansk is located southwest of Severodonetsk and remains the last large city within the borders of the Luhansk region of Ukraine, which is not under the control of the LPR. The republic's ambassador to Russia, Rodion Miroshnik, said earlier that the People's Militia took control of the only road from Kyiv-controlled Seversk to Lysichansk, cutting off 5-7 thousand Ukrainian military from the supply.

Macron appreciated the granting of EU candidate status to Ukraine: a signal from Russia

French President Emmanuel Macron, speaking to reporters following the first day of the EU summit in Brussels, commented on granting Ukraine the status candidate for membership in the European Union.

“This decision was a political gesture of a strong and united Europe, … a very strong signal for Russia,” he said.

The French leader also added that European countries will support Kyiv “in carrying out all the necessary reforms” on the way to the EU and added that this work will require time and effort.

Lavrov says the UN is prolonging the food crisis

According to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov, UN Secretary General António Guterres, with his actions and decisions that do not take into account the corridors announced by the Russian side , is prolonging the food crisis, as grain is not supplied to developing countries.

The Minister noted that he was alarmed by the slow response of the UN to such an urgent issue as the export of grain. He does not rule out that the international organization is being strongly influenced from outside.

“All our proposals, which were formulated by President Vladimir Putin, were put on paper and transferred to New York. We did everything that could,” Lavrov added.

At the same time, the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry noted that the UN is trying to first agree on Ukrainian grain, but not on Russian. According to Lavrov, Guterres wants to solve the problem of exporting grain, not taking into account the corridors announced daily by the Russian side.

Lavrov appreciated the prospect of resuming negotiations with Kyiv

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov explained how Moscow will behave when Kyiv wants to resume the negotiation process. In particular, he stressed that Russia will take into account the situation “on the ground”, as well as the unwillingness of some regions to return under the control of Ukraine again. The Anglo-Saxons are now preventing the Ukrainian side from resuming negotiations, Lavrov added.

“When they deign to turn to us with a proposal to resume the negotiation process, which, as I know, the Europeans are urgently asking them, but the Anglo-Saxons forbid it, we will look at the situation on the ground. There are liberated areas. Most of the local population does not even want to think about returning to the control of neo-Nazi authorities or authorities that indulge neo-Nazism in every way,” the Russian minister explained.

Negotiating groups of Russia and Ukraine previously met on the territory of Belarus. A number of negotiations were held via video link. Another face-to-face meeting was held in Istanbul. At the moment, all negotiations are frozen. In May, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Andrei Rudenko announced the suspension of negotiations at the initiative of Kyiv.

Ukraine blocked Georgia’s EU candidacy: Tbilisi threatens to expose Kyiv

Saakashvili may become a source of international compromising evidence

The EU leaders could have given Georgia the status of an EU candidate this week, but they did not. As it turned out, the candidacy was prevented by an unexpected adversary, who turned out to be Ukraine's “ex-girlfriend”. According to Georgian politicians, she demanded, almost in an ultimatum form, to refuse Georgia's claims to join the European Union. She herself received a recommendation from the European Commission for obtaining the status of a candidate for the EU. Offended Georgia has already promised to “tell everything” about Ukraine.

Photo: AP

In support of integration with the EU, a rally of thousands of people took place in Tbilisi in front of the parliament building, but the “little Georgian dream” did not come true. Prime Minister of the Republic Irakli Garibashvili spoke about who prevented Georgia from getting the coveted candidate status. According to him, such a demand to the European Union was put forward by the representative of Ukraine David Arakhamia, who personally visited Washington and Brussels, as well as the parliamentary opposition of Georgia represented by the United National Movement. Europe was practically delivered an ultimatum from Ukraine: “If Georgia gets the status of a candidate, we will be very disappointed,” Arakhamia threatened. .

According to Garibashvili, he has some “important and verified” information from colleagues from Europe and America, and will soon be ready to share it with the public if the refusal of the candidacy is confirmed…

David Arakhamia himself rejected the accusations from Garibashvili, sharply accusing the politician of spreading fakes on the order of the Georgian oligarchs. At the same time, the People's Deputy of Ukraine called the current government of Georgia puppet, and also assured that he visited the United States in order to prove that “Mr. Ivanishvili is a pro-Russian oligarch with a puppet government and, in fact, substitutes the ordinary Georgian people who want to go to Europe.”

The Georgian government, after the start of a special military operation in Ukraine, refused to put pressure on Moscow, not joining the sanctions measures, which caused strong dissatisfaction on the part of Kyiv, after which relations between the two countries deteriorated noticeably. This opinion is shared by Head of the Caucasus Department of the Institute of CIS Countries Vladimir Valeryevich Evseev

According to the expert, Georgia has its own interest in cooperation with Russia: “Russia did not join South Ossetia by referendum, which is in Georgia's interests. – the expert told Moskovsky Komsomolets, – Secondly, Georgia wants to become a so-called “hub” for the delivery of sanctioned goods, so the interests here are economic and territorial.

Third, Ukraine cannot block Georgia's EU candidacy because it is not itself a member of the EU. Ukraine is always trying to appear bigger than it really is. Georgia has its own relationship with the US, which has a long history. Ukraine cannot worsen Georgian-American relations. It's unrealistic. And Georgia's relations with NATO are more realistic. Georgia, unlike Ukraine, is much more ready to join NATO. But Georgia's neutral position on Ukraine is, of course, an annoying factor for them.”

– It will be seen in the fall. What will happen to Ukraine, what state it will be in. Perhaps there will be a complete collapse, and Georgia understands this, and relations with Russia allow Georgia to realize its interests. There is another nuance that separates these two countries – this is the former Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili, who is now in prison in Georgia. As for the choice of the United States, for them, interest in Ukraine will fall as it loses access to the Black Sea, while interest in Georgia will remain. And against this background, it may even intensify. And Georgia understands this well.

– This information may be related to Mikheil Saakashvili. He is now in prison, and could tell a lot of compromising information about Ukraine and Ukrainian politicians. For example, secret actions between Ukraine and Europe, which the public does not want to know about. Americans are unlikely to be touched, but Europe – please. Especially if she refuses to grant status. And for America, this compromising evidence will only benefit, as it will increase the contradictions in Europe.

Medvedchuk was not allowed to go to court over himself

“Traitor” is sitting in Kyiv, and he is being tried in Lvov

The Lvov Court has begun considering the case against Viktor Medvedchuk, leader of the Opposition Platform for Life party, who is accused of treason . The process takes place without the full-time participation of the accused.

The mysterious legal incident is explained in the court itself as follows: “Given that the person is a suspect in another criminal proceeding, where a measure of restraint in the form of detention was chosen for him, ensuring the personal participation of the accused in the court session by delivering him to the Lychakovsky District Court , will create a risk to the safety of the accused and deprive him of the possibility of ensuring the promptness of the trial.”

Therefore, Medvedchuk will follow the trial over him via video link. Of course, the question is why it was necessary to send the case for consideration to Lviv if the accused is in Kyiv, and the essence of the accusation does concern the events in the Donbass. After all, it was there that Medvedchuk, according to the Ukrainian investigation, bought the “wrong coal” for the needs of the country.

By the way, Petro Poroshenko is the second defendant in this case. And the witness is the former Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk, whom the SBU has already interrogated four times. Whether they will all take part in the process “from a distance” is unknown. The hearings were decided to be closed.

The European Parliament voted for granting the status of EU candidates to Ukraine and Moldova

Kyiv still has a lot of steps to take in order to actually join the European Union

Members of the European Parliament overwhelmingly voted in favor of granting Ukraine and Moldova the status of candidates for the European Union. 529 parliamentarians spoke in favor of the decision, 45 opposed, 14 abstained. The resolution is advisory in nature. The final decision should be made later at the EU summit. The leaders of the association note that countries will have to carry out serious reforms first.

The European Parliament statement notes that the EU leadership must fulfill its historic responsibility – to give Ukraine and Moldova a “clear political signal confirming their European perspective.”

“With 529 votes in favour, 45 votes against and 14 abstentions, Parliament on Thursday adopted a resolution calling on the heads of state who will host the summit today and tomorrow to grant EU candidate status to Ukraine and Moldova without delay,” the European Parliament said in a statement. .

MEPs also urged the EU to give the status of a candidate to Georgia. At the same time, they specified that this should be done after her government fulfills the conditions specified by the European Commission.

It is important to understand that the resolution adopted by the European Parliament is purely advisory in nature. The final decision on this issue will be made later at the EU summit, which is taking place these days in Brussels.

The European Parliament noted that such a decision was made as a “symbol of hope” to maintain the spirit of Ukrainians. Indeed, for a real entry into the European Union, Kyiv will have to “make a lot of steps.”

Moreover, this process could easily be reversed if the future Kyiv government fails to implement the necessary rule of law reforms and bring its economy in line with EU standards.

The transition from “applicant” to “candidate” status usually takes years. However, the European Union accelerated this process in relation to Ukraine. According to the head of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, Kyiv's desire to join the EU has led Ukrainians to “go through hell.”

Shortly before the start of the EU summit, President of the European Council Charles Michel expressed confidence that the EU would grant candidate status to Ukraine and Moldova.

“This is a defining moment for the European Union,” he told reporters. “It is also a geopolitical choice that we will make today, and I am sure that we will grant candidate status to Ukraine and Moldova.”

In turn, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba said that the candidate’s status “will draw a line under decades of ambiguity” and “carve it in stone: Ukraine is Europe, not part of the “Russian world.”

Commenting the possibility of obtaining such a status, Ukrainian Ambassador to the EU Vsevolod Chentsov noted that the European Union is acting “with lightning speed” according to its standards.

“We need this clarity [regarding EU membership] in order to support the Ukrainian army, Ukrainian society morally, psychologically and get a clear sense and understanding of the direction of movement for the country,” he added.

Meanwhile, senior European officials have counted at least 10 member states that have previously opposed granting Ukraine candidate status for the EU, reports The Guardian. However, recently, under some pressure, they have changed their positions.

The draft conclusions of the summit, which the publication got acquainted with, say that the “progress” of the candidate country will depend on “its own merits”, as well as “ on the EU's ability to accept new members.

Earlier, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz said against this background that the EU needs to “reform its internal procedures” in order to prepare for the admission of new members. The politician called for greater use of supermajority votes in areas such as foreign policy to end the blocking of a decision by one country.

Recall that a two-day European Union summit opened in Brussels on Thursday, June 23. The main topic of the summit meeting was the further steps taken by the EU to strengthen security and stability on the continent.

At the BRICS summit with Putin there was a “technical scandal”: they communicated with gestures

Narendra Modi's worst luck

The leaders of the BRICS countries, gathered for a live summit, had communication problems. Only the presidents of Russia, China and Brazil managed to speak without interference. The South African leader lost the picture, and the Indian Prime Minister lost the sound. Everyone, including Vladimir Putin, had to temporarily switch to sign language. However, in real life, the BRICS have no problems: all participants assured that cooperation is deepening, and the authority of the “five” on the world stage is steadily growing.

Unlike other international associations, whose members have been holding face-to-face meetings for a long time, BRICS continues to remain in a quarantine regime. Only the presidents of South Africa and Brazil actively travel the world. While the leaders of China, Russia and India prefer to stay at home and go abroad only in exceptional cases. Vladimir Putin took part in the BRICS summit from the Zavidovo residence, where Alexander Lukashenko has been visiting since Thursday. Since the communication between the two leaders, as Dmitry Peskov explained to reporters, is informal, it was not difficult for Putin to interrupt and get in touch with the members of the “five” at the appointed time.

The event was opened by Chinese President Xi Jinping as a host. Usually, the Chinese prepare very carefully for such meetings – they think over the cultural program, make up a special menu, and produce a variety of souvenirs. But now they are clearly not up to it: the country is in a permanent lockdown – when residents of some cities are briefly allowed to breathe fresh air, others are again locked within four walls. It is not surprising that Xi Jinping in his speech again spoke about the pandemic, as well as other topics traditional for Beijing – in particular, the construction of a multipolar world and the dangers of unilateral sanctions. The head of China called on BRICS partners to abandon the Cold War mentality and confrontation between blocs. “Thus, the large family of the “community of a common destiny for mankind” will outstrip a small group of hegemons,” Xi explained the historical mission of the “five” Xi, although in the current situation his wishes, frankly, look utopian: Russia is not going to give up confrontation with NATO and is not hides this.

When the camera showed all the participants of the summit, it turned out that they still could not do without souvenirs. The Chinese sent a cup to each president in the famous “tsinghua” technique (when white porcelain is painted with blue paints. – “MK” ). The four leaders had a present sitting idle on the table. And only Vladimir Putin, who a few years ago became addicted to green tea, sipped from a painted glass in front of everyone. The Russian president was the fourth to speak, and by that time it had already become clear that there were big problems with communication at the online summit. Translators were almost non-existent. And the image of South African President Cyril Ramaphosa periodically disappeared from the screen. Vladimir Putin said that the authority of the BRICS on the world stage is constantly increasing – this is due to the economic, political and human potential of the participating countries. The transnational nature of the challenges and threats, he said, requires joint responses. Well, Western countries, with the help of financial mechanisms, are transferring their own mistakes in macroeconomic policy to the world. “We are convinced that now, more than ever, the leadership of the BRICS countries in developing a unifying course for building a multipolar system of international relations is in demand,” the GDP said, noting that such an agenda would find support from many countries in Asia, Africa and Latin America. It is worth noting that the day before, the Russian leader was more specific and explained how BRICS is useful to Russia in the face of sanctions pressure. China and India are increasing purchases of Russian oil. Negotiations are underway to open Indian chain stores and supply Chinese cars. Russian IT technologies are in demand in India and South Africa, while space satellites are in demand in Brazil. On the agenda is the issue of creating an international reserve currency based on a basket of currencies of five countries. In general, the prospects outlined by the Russian leader are really good, but the reality is not very good yet. Exports of goods from friendly countries are not growing, but declining. As for oil, purchases have increased due to a large discount, which, taking advantage of the situation, Chinese and Indian companies negotiate for themselves.

The last speaker at the summit was Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Judging by his face, he spoke with inspiration and enthusiasm, but, unfortunately, no one could hear him. Other presidents tried to draw the attention of their colleagues to the problem with the microphone: Vladimir Putin pointed to the button on the table, Ramaphosa shook his headphones, Bolsonaro made a “stop” sign with both hands. (One Xi continued to smile at the screen as if nothing had happened.) But this did not give a quick effect. Modi spoke into the void for about 2 minutes, until, finally, the organizers of the broadcast managed to convey to the Indian side in English that “other leaders of Mr. Prime Minister do not hear.” When the connection was sorted out, it turned out that Modi was also worried about the pandemic, but he hoped that the mutual cooperation of the BRICS countries would contribute to the global recovery.

Pushkov saw a “shift” in the West in relation to Russia: they do not expect a collapse

The Federation Council discussed the first results of the information confrontation

The Federation Council Commission on Information Policy and Interaction with the Media discussed the preliminary results of the “information confrontation in the conditions of the sanctions war.” The participants urged to work more actively in the countries of Africa, Asia and Latin America, and use social networks and bloggers to convey the Russian point of view in the West.

Opening the meeting, Alexei Pushkov, chairman of the commission, said that inside the country the information war was won “even before the start of the special operation”, because the Western media have greatly degraded, turned into a tool for serving the authorities, propaganda and lost the trust of the Russian audience. But the possibilities for conveying the point of view of the Russian Federation to a foreign audience are very limited, the senator admitted. The activities of many Russian TV channels are blocked, Russian media are banned… But in Europe, “a certain shift is taking place – from expecting the collapse of Russia to recognizing that sanctions are hitting, first of all, the economies of the Western countries themselves,” so now it is very important to “survive economically”: this will also affect the situation in the information sphere.

And the rest of the world, Pushkov said, is very tired of the West, “and this is our important resource.” In the Arab countries, the Western presence is perceived as “quasi-colonial”, while in the African world “we are perceived exceptionally well, because we challenged those giants who have long exploited them.” As for Asia, Russia does not have its own system of direct informational influence there, “all newspapers from Cyprus to Malaysia quote the Western press and agencies, and the columns in them are written not by our authors, but by American ones,” and this is “our significant shortcoming.” Be that as it may, the West does not have complete informational control in the world, and Russia “must create its own alternative to this vanishing Western monopoly,” Pushkov concluded.

The speakers next spoke about how the creation of this alternatives.

Political scientist, host of the Right to Know! Dmitry Kulikov is sure that in order to reformat the public consciousness of Russians in the right direction, special attention should be paid to the history of perestroika and the early 1990s. It was from those times, in his opinion, that the thesis that the USSR lost the Cold War and collapsed due to betrayal almost at the very very top, and “the topic of betrayal is very painful” has settled in the heads of our citizens and elites. .

“The external factor played its role, just as in Ukraine the Western factor played a role in changing the regime, but Ukraine began to form as anti-Russia on the basis of Ukrainian nationalism, which was born in the late Soviet era,” Pushkov noted. In the West, in his opinion, the same thing is happening today as in the late Soviet era: the population has become disillusioned with the official media and is looking for information in social networks, from bloggers. We need to create more Russian content in foreign languages, at least in English, he believes.

“Blogger and influencer” Mikhail Shakhnazarov, who lived in Latvia for 47 years, was radical. “When I moved here, I was surprised at how much everyone blossomed here,” he said. And he proposed “to make it clear to those who left that they are not welcome here and that there will be no return to the former” (to cultural figures. – “MK” ), as well as to remove books from bookstores that negatively evaluate actions of Russia in Ukraine.

The editor-in-chief of the online publication Iskander Khisamov said that this media has already begun a certain reorientation to new audiences: they published a column by a Chinese blogger, “brought themselves a Sinologist, and more than one”, “Tensely” thinking about disseminating information in Spanish, Arabic… “We see that most of the world is for us, but they are “lamp slaves”: they hate the Americans, but they depend on them,” he said.

“Take a Nazi for re-education”: how to properly denazify Ukraine

“They spent a lot of time together every day”

In Ukraine, apparently, they will miss an important “transient” anniversary – the 30th anniversary of the erection of the first monument to Stepan Bandera.

It was opened in June 1992 in Stryi — administrative city of Lviv region — widely covered in the republican press. In contrast to the demolition of the monument to the Soviet intelligence officer Nikolai Kuznetsov at the same time in one of the squares of the city of Lvov. It was done very quietly and quickly.

And yet, many Lviv residents managed to come to the square with bouquets of flowers in order to put them for the last time at the pedestal of the former monument to the legendary intelligence officer.

Soon, Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Ukraine Leonid Kravchuk, who became the first president of independent Ukraine, remembered how he brought food to OUN members hiding in the forest (the organization was recognized as extremist and banned in Russia).

But then in Russia they considered it necessary not to notice these “little things”, and for a long time “fraternal”, cheap oil and gas went to Ukraine, Ambassador Chernomyrdin played the harmonica and kissed passionately with the president of “not Russia”, Ambassador Zurabov solved his own problems. dealing with the local business elite.

And most importantly, they pretended that everything was fine. But, as they say in the operetta “Mr. X”, “And this little piglet grew, grew, and grew such a big” hellip; What has grown has grown. Now you won’t return! (this is me, of course, only about Bandera).

Everyone knows the parable that if you cook a frog over low heat, then it will not notice how it will be ready to serve. We have been brewing for over 30 years, many were happy with this process, but the cooks were impatient and added boiling water to the pan. And then we suddenly became indignant.

In none of the previous articles, I said that we are guaranteed to have a bright future ahead of us. We welded our society seriously, it is not even clear with whom to start resuscitation.

Today I would like to talk a little about denazification. Moreover, it will concern our country no less.

First, as always, an example from what I personally heard.

This story was told to me by a very popular economist during the years of perestroika, Professor Pleshki Valentin Fedorov. Unlike most of his fellow tribunes, he managed to try to put his ideas into practice. In the early 1990s, he became the governor of Sakhalin, and then the prime minister of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).

Once, on a parliamentary exchange, he flew to Washington, where a meeting was organized for Russian officials in the US Senate .

So this is what Valentin Petrovich told me: “Everything was verified according to the protocol, the program of visits and meetings was worked out and approved in detail. Suddenly, I was told that Senator John McCain of Arizona really wanted to meet with me. We did not know each other, and such a request, frankly, surprised me, but also intrigued me. The senator, seeing me, clarified: “Is it true that you are the governor of Sakhalin?” After my confirmation of authority, he threw himself on my neck, vigorously clapping his hands on my back. “Psycho or provocateur!” — flashed through my head. When the emotions were exhausted, I found out the reasons for such stormy joy. It turns out that the future US presidential candidate (as you remember, he lost the election to Obama in 2008), a pilot, a veteran of the Vietnam War, was shot down in 1967 over Hanoi and spent five years in Vietnamese captivity. The conditions of detention were unsweetened, in particular, he was not allowed to read anything. But in the cell there was a special issue of the magazine “Soviet Union”; in English, dedicated to the Sakhalin region. So the future senator read it for all five years! After that, Sakhalin became as dear to him as his native Arizona!»

Can you imagine if he sat longer and our magazines were given to him about various regions of the Soviet Union. He would have gone free as a true patriot of our country.

This story has a sequel. Saakashvili will buy a pistol from a retired Soviet officer, which he took away from the downed McCain during his arrest. Mishiko will present it, as he hoped, to the future president of the United States. But here's the bad luck — this did not help either one or the second.

Another acquaintance of mine, perhaps the last citizen of Russia, in practice engaged in denazification, — E.I. Larionov. In the early 1950s, he worked in the Soviet bank “Garkrebo”, which conducted all the financial operations of SVAG — Soviet military administration in Germany.

Yevgeny Ivanovich told me that his German teacher and interpreter, appointed by the state, turned out to be a former Nazi officer who lost one arm in the war. The fact is that in the GDR a law was passed: for every 30 employees, each enterprise was supposed to hire one former Nazi for re-education. A very young bank employee had to communicate with that German a lot — every day they spent a lot of time together, traveling long distances by car.

And as a result, the GDR was really a denazified country, unlike the FRG.

But in the USSR “thanks” to Khrushchev, with his premature amnesty, the process was disrupted.

The process of reforging the population of Ukraine, and many of our compatriots, is inextricably linked with other processes of restructuring (in the good sense of the word) of all other aspects of our life, primarily humanitarian and economic.

We have yet to find effective ways to achieve change.

At the same time, our neighbors are very successfully denazified by Europeans who are fed up with “Ukrainization”; of their countries, especially the Poles, who remembered their old accounts with their neighbors. But Western Ukrainians do it even more skillfully, having clearly demonstrated the unity of the Ukrainian nation.

But this process will be long. And we can't do it without someone else's help. The positive effect of overpressure on the properties of concrete has been experimentally established, so now we need no relief. The Ukrainians will not let us down, as I wrote earlier, they are incapable of negotiating and will frustrate any attempts to reach an agreement. But our former “partners” can give slack. So the wise Henry Kissinger is already declaring: “The question now is how to end this war. After its completion, a place must be found for Ukraine, as well as for Russia, if we do not want Russia to become an outpost of China in Europe.

How it reminds me of the end of Alexander Ostrovsky's famous play “Enough Stupidity for Every Wise Man”. Let me remind you of the plot: the main character Glumov in his diary gave impartial characteristics to the elite around him. The content of the diary becomes known to them. It all starts with indignation, demands for the removal of Glumov from secular society, and the announcement of sanctions. The young man answers calmly.

“Glumov (taking the diary). I won't explain or make excuses. I will only tell you that you yourself will soon regret that you removed me from your society.

Krutitsky. Dear sir, our society consists of honest people.

That's it. Yes, yes, yes!"

But this story ends with a return to the old life.

«Glumov. You need me gentlemen. Without a person like me, you cannot live. Not me, so it will be different. It will be worse than me, and you will say: oh, this one is worse than Glumov, but still a nice fellow. <…>

Krutitsky. But he is still, gentlemen, whatever you say, a business man. It is necessary to punish him; but, I suppose, after a while you can caress him again.

Gorodulin. Absolutely.

Mamaev. I agree.

Mamaeva. I'll take it upon myself.

In these dialogues, it's easy to replace Krutitsky's surname with Biden, Mamaev rhymes with Macron in many ways…

Just say — do we need it?!

You have to make a bitter statement — a slow, thorough operation in the West is needed, only it will be accompanied by irreversible changes in the East. It will give all the characters the opportunity to prove themselves and carry out a general cleaning in our country (after all, when the snow melts in the spring, everything and everyone will not come out from under it).

But I have already quoted a well-known political and statesman who said that the logic of circumstances is stronger than the logic of intentions. This logic must be allowed to manifest itself.

It is hard, but when you have a serious operation, you do not get pleasure, but there is a chance to survive.

I would like to end my stream of thoughts with one more literary masterpiece. In the wonderful film by Rolan Bykov «Aibolit-66» there is a song of the protagonist, which is directly related to the ongoing events:

If the children in Limpopo lived without getting sick,

We would not know what is in the world of Barmaleya.

That we are everywhere from them

we have to wait for a dirty trick,

It’s even good that we feel bad for now.

And whenever Barmaley doesn’t build intrigues for us ,

We would not know that we, apparently, are heroes.

That we will not gasp or groan in trouble,

It is very good that so far we feel bad.

Bloomberg: three Russian oil tankers disappeared from radar in the middle of the ocean

Journalists put forward an assumption about this.

As it became known to Bloomberg, Russian oil tankers began to frequently disappear from the radar of special systems for tracking the movement of ships.

In particular, three tankers have already been reported missing in the past 10 days.

< p> The Azores which are located in 1,5 thousand km are the last point of a location. away from Portugal.

The disappearance of ships was also recorded on the way to Asia.

It is assumed that the disconnection of Russian tankers from the system is carried out intentionally.

To hide the resource deposit , a covert delivery of oil to the end buyer through other vessels is carried out to remain incognito.

It is noted that such actions were not used before the start of Russia's special military operation in Ukraine.

It is known that such a practice exists in Iran and Venezuela, since these countries are also currently under sanctions.

Apparently, Russian tankers have adopted a similar trading scheme.

Earlier, Topnews wrote that the Russian Federation had stopped exports oil from Kazakhstan after Tokaev's words about the DPR and LPR.

“Sugar” negligence. Doctors are accused of the death of a “cannibal” from the Kuban

The main defendant in the high-profile criminal case of the “Krasnodar cannibals” Dmitry Baksheev died on February 16, 2020 in the tuberculosis hospital of Rostov-on-Don, where he was taken after a trial in Krasnodar. The administration of the Federal Penitentiary Service for the Rostov Region then reported that the man died from a long-term chronic illness — he suffered from diabetes mellitus and suffered from tuberculosis for a long time. But Baksheev's lawyers considered the reason given unconvincing and sought a thorough investigation, which yielded results.

Last autumn endocrinologist of the therapeutic department of the branch of the Interregional Tuberculosis Hospital No. 19 of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia (MOTB-19) Lusine Grigoryancharged with causing death by negligence. According to investigators, she prescribed Dmitry Baksheev incorrect insulin therapy while taking medications that increase blood glucose. This led to the fact that the “Krasnodar cannibal” fell into a diabetic coma and died. The case against Grigoryan is currently being considered by the court. And in February of this year, a case was initiated against her boss, the head of the branch of the Interregional Tuberculosis Hospital, Tigran Mkrtchyan. But this became known only now.

As the Krasnodar lawyer Aleksey Avanesyan explained to, for unknown reasons, the investigator did not inform him in time about the initiation of a criminal case against Tigran Mkrtchyan . About this fact, the defender of the “Krasnodar cannibal” It became known from the recently adopted resolution, according to which the wife of Dmitry Baksheev, Natalya, was recognized as a victim in a criminal case on the death of her husband.

“The circumstances established during the procedural check indicate that Mkrtchyan T.R. committed a crime under Part 2 of Art. 293 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation — negligence, that is, improper performance by an official of his duties due to dishonest and negligent attitude to the service or duties of the position, which negligently entailed the death of a person, — the resolution says.

By the way, lawyer Alexei Avanesyan still believes that the “Krasnodar cannibals” nicknamed in the media the Baksheevs were found guilty of unfounded murder. In his opinion, they simply found a dismembered corpse in a wasteland in Krasnodar, parts of which they took with them because of their marginal lifestyle. The defender repeatedly stated that the real criminal was not found and escaped punishment. Meanwhile, Natalya Baksheeva continues to serve her sentence in a colony for murder.

How did Zala stealth drones change the tactics of combating armored vehicles?

Story Russian special operation in Donbass and Ukraine

Russian troops in Ukraine have started using drones to destroy US-made 155mm M777 howitzers. The use of drones has completely changed counter-battery combat. The  drone frames show a battery of two 155mm howitzers and crews preparing the guns for combat. At this point, the drone dives and explodes between two howitzers. The video shows the scattering of fragments that hit personnel and guns.

Aiming difficulties

In the past, artillery units had to do reconnaissance to locate targets. For example, hitting a tank of an artillery position with unguided rockets or artillery shells is very difficult for a gunner who cannot see his target. For artillery systems such as rocket launchers or howitzers, the probable error is typically 25 meters at a distance of 24 km, making it difficult to hit a target such as a tank or artillery vehicle.

A new method

However, the use of drones has changed this concept. Moreover, the use of UAVs increases the effectiveness of aiming due to the use of on-board GPS systems, which make it possible to detect enemy positions. The Zala UAV allows Russian artillery to detect a battery of 155 mm M777 howitzers of the Ukrainian army, and then destroy them with high accuracy.

The gunner notes where the first round lands and then tells the gunner how to adjust his aim. Using drones, artillery units can get accurate information because drones can get close and hover right over the enemy. Even if the machine and bring down — no big deal, there there and their price isn not that great compared to other weapons.

Unmanned aerial complex ZALA 421-16Е5 HD. Photo: RIA Novosti/Pavel Bednyakov

Technique used

We are talking about the ZALA 421-16E HD unmanned aerial vehicle, which is called the invisible drone in the troops. The device has a special design of the electric motor, small size and made of special composite materials. The drone has poor contrast in both the visible and infrared and radar ranges, it has a reduced noise level. Most importantly, it is not captured by thermal homing heads for MANPADS, due to which it is possible to carry out such an operation. In general, the device is intended for reconnaissance. It can stay in air for over 4 hours and has a range of 75 kilometers. It can carry various payloads, including high-definition cameras. The processing of photo and video information takes place directly on the  board of the UAV in flight.

A month earlier, the “Cube” was used for the same purposes. The drone is guided by the video image from the camera, has high accuracy, can be launched covertly, is almost silent and easy to control. State tests “Cuba” ended in end of 2021

“Cube” developed by ZALA AERO (part of the Kalashnikov concern). It has a characteristic shape due to the wide delta wing, it is set in motion by a propeller that rotates an electric motor. The drone carries a warhead weighing three kilograms. The maximum duration of its flight — 30 minutes, speed — 130 kilometers per hour.

The future belongs to drones

Now a fundamentally new tactic of using drones in air combat is being born. It is already obvious that a swarm of drones will be almost impossible to completely destroy. The ease of reconfiguration of the software will make the swarm of drones universal, it can be easily adjusted to solve any tasks over the battlefield. The basis of the Russian system is a self-organizing swarm of COM-93 unmanned aerial vehicles, each of which is able to take on board up to 2.5 kg of various combat loads. A swarm of  small drones can hit different targets, for example, car columns on the march.

What kind of high-precision ammunition 9M544 for “Tornado-S” was used in Ukraine?

Plot RF special operation in Donbass and Ukraine

Russian troops deploy Tornado-S multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) to destroy the positions of the Ukrainian security forces in the east of Ukraine. In a combat situation, a strike was made by guided high-precision 300-mm 9M544 projectiles. Fragments of these munitions were found in the places of shelling.

The first set of serial systems “Tornado” entered the 439th Rocket Artillery Brigade of the Southern Military District three years ago. This is the most modern MLRS for today, which is in service with the Russian army and one of the most powerful in the world. The system was the first to use an automated control and guidance system. This allows you to fire at several different targets with one salvo.

Similarities and differences

Large-caliber “Tornado-S” came to  replace the Smerch multiple rocket launcher  And outwardly, they differ little, including the preserved system and the number of firing guides — 12. The main changes affected ammunition and & nbsp; electronics. “Tornados” and "Hurricane" were used for the most part for fire on areas. The main use case for new combat vehicles — pinpoint strikes with guided munitions on priority targets. Due to this, the accuracy of hitting targets increased, and  the installation entered the class of high-precision weapons, which made it possible to include it in reconnaissance and strike contours of the operational level.

"Tornado-S" solves the tasks of destroying firing positions of enemy controlled strike weapons, command posts, communication centers, aircraft and helicopters at home airfields and jump sites, air defense systems. The warhead of the rocket penetrates armor 140 mm thick.

Smart projectiles

For “Tornado” two high-tech long-range missiles 9M544 and  9M549 with trajectory correction with anti-tank and anti-personnel warheads have been specially developed. Ammunition combines satellite and precision inertial navigation systems. Radically increased and & nbsp; accuracy. Even at the limiting distance, the deviation from the target is only 7-10 m. This is an order of magnitude better than "Smerch". The flight range of 9M544 used in Ukraine is 120 km. The mass of the projectile is 828 kg, it consists of 552 combat elements, each of which has a mass of 0.24 kg and can penetrate armor 140 mm thick due to the cumulative fragmentation effect.

The possibility of using cheap unguided 300-mm ammunition of the previous generation in the ammunition load is also preserved. They are well suited for hitting not point, but large area objects. They have also been improved, so the range of unguided high-explosive fragmentation missiles has increased twice — from 20 to 40 km.

Service electronics

Another difference “Tornado” became the possibility of automatic guidance and & nbsp; shooting. The machine, thanks to a modern satellite navigation system, instantly determines its exact position. Having received the coordinates of the target, the computer calculates all the necessary data for opening fire and directs the guides. The crew does not even need to leave the armored cabin. The capabilities of the new electronics make it possible to place individual MLRS combat vehicles not next to each other, but at a distance from each other. The on-board computer automatically calculates the individual corrections necessary for guidance. So “Tornado” less vulnerable to enemy retaliation. They increase their survivability and the ability of the system to quickly change position in order to get away from the shelling and prepare for shooting again.

Working in team

All the features of “Tornado-S” are revealed when they work as part of the reconnaissance and fire circuit. To do this, instead of a conventional radio station, combat control and communication equipment is installed in the machine. With its help, the crew receives the coordinates of targets via secure channels from a unified tactical level control system. Information in it flows from various means of reconnaissance — ground troops, aviation, drones and technical means of detection.
