Barbie Extra – Extra (oh My Wow) Lyrics

Barbie Extra
Two, three, come on.
We got the looks and we sing the big hooks,
So you’re gonna wanna walk this way.
Dressed to the max when we raid the clothes racks
for a look that’s fit to slay.
Hit that.
Heat, when it comes to fashion, we get that EXTRA action.
More is more, to the max–
flex.
Pump it up. Pump it up.
Hey.
Let’s go.
Hey.
We do it well.
Express yourself.
Be EXTRA and then we drop ’em with our style.

My friends so stacked.
We don’t hold back, back.
And we walk like it’s the runway, I’m like oh my wow.
Got that swag when she walks.
Got that sass when she talks.
She’s so, so, so extra, baby.
Boom, bang, pow.
See that ring.
Make it sing.
She’s so bling, bling, bling.
Run that.
Baby, run that.
Oh my wow.
I’m a superstar like oh my wow.
Get it.
Get it.
Get it.
Hey!
Oh my wow.
Run that.

N.O.R.E. – Outta Line Lyrics (feat. Conway & Method Man)

[N.O.R.E:]
See em talking from the sideline, they outta line
Talking down on the slime, man they outta line
See em talking from the sideline, they outta line
Talking down on the slime, man they outta line

Uh
I was in my Madrid, Spain on some other shit
Connect, he got the call, had the plug on the mothership
Suicide opium, cocaine, biscayne
Cuban cigar shit, still I’m on my mob shit
Still I’m selling diesel like Busta Rhymes’ armpits
I used to sell coke to my man pops
He could get it elsewhere but elsewhere was all Ops
The lesser evil, good and bad like a paralegal
My dudes in Boston, they got rich off the dog food
Always saying "or d’oeuvres" and make big dog moves
2021, 60 [?] diamond
Camouflage AP, royal oak offshore
Can only go and rock it when I’m off, sure
The big chain I only rock on occasions
We eating with the Asians, Beverley Hill crustaceans
Listen, I drink more Ace than Hov do
This the new me, remind me of the old you
That new saying got feeling like an Arab prince
2022, engines start with fingerprints
Let a dude diss me, I promise you won’t see him since

See em talking from the sideline, they outta line
Talking down on the slime, man they outta line
See em talking from the sideline, they outta line
Talking down on the slime, man they outta line
See em talking from the sideline, they outta line
Talking down on the slime, man they outta line
See em talking from the sideline, they outta line
Talking down on the slime, man they outta line

[Conway The Machine:]
Look
Hear em talking from the sidelines, they outta line (Huh?)
Fifty on his head, that won’t affect my bottom line
Bottom line, niggas think its sweet, he must be out his mind
You know the model, drums and the carbon when its throttle time (Brrr)
Before rap, I sold a lot of crack to see my dollar signs
So I was fine before I signed my name on the dotted line (Ahahaha)
I done climbed to the top in a very short amount of time
And I ain’t jot a line, still I’m the hottest in a lot of minds (Talk to em)
Shifted the culture
Only thing left for me to do is get richer than Oprah (Huh?)

Bitches got my dick on their poster
Richer than most of the niggas that was sneak dissing me
These niggas is broke, I’m rapping with a chip on my shoulder (Haa)
Yeah, niggas assumed I was starting to fall (Uh huh)
From King to a God, billboard charted with bars (Cap)
Had to prove I hustle harder, I’m smarter than y’all thought
One more album and I’m done with all parties involved (Whoo)

[N.O.R.E:]

[Method Man:]
Aye
What’s good slime? we just drawing rappers without a line
I get cray on beats, kids be colouring out of line
Now its game on B, picture Puffy without the shine
Armage aura, flow is water, make mine an Alkaline
Y’all taking orders and paying for it, now pay for mine
A steep fee but knowledge is free, y’all just don’t pay no mind
I don’t hate on these rappers, I hate the way they rhyme
I’m pissed in the palace, been bad boy since ’89
Culture shooter, the chuck, dearly I trust rarely
Might trust a friend, even then; YNW Melly
PB and Jelly, now Robert Kelly done caught a felon
Who would’ve thought that your life as short as my pardoned belly
Don’t need a beat, I go A Cappella yeah Akh a pally
Cause it sound better than [?] don’t spell ‘Checkmate’
Mef jacking my comrade from [?]
Ain’t no just dunce, it’s just us
That’s just facts

[N.O.R.E:]

Lori Harvey shared this sweet message in tribute to her “Nugget” on his birthday.

Michael B Jordan is officially 34 today, and his girlfriend Lori Harvey made sure the world knows exactly how she feels about her man. In what can be described as a cute birthday tribute, she shared photos and videos of some of the great moments they have shared. She captioned one of her pics: “Happyyy Birthdayyy Nugget I love you baby…hope today has been at least half as special as you are.”

She also showcased some never before seen photos. These include photos of them on a boat, of them in an airplane, and even more intimate moments of Jordan kissing her neck while smoking at a poolside.

It was only last month that Jordan and Harvey went public with their relationship. She also more recently reacted to his Super Bowl commercial for Amazon Alexa, sharing some clips with heart emojis via Instagram.

A source revealed to ET that, “Michael B. Jordan’s family likes Lori, and vice versa. Lori is everything Michael’s family could have hoped for him to find. She’s lovely, respectful and fits in perfectly.” The source continues, “Things have gotten serious fast, but there have been no red flags. They’re both totally invested, committed and very happy.”

Juelz Santana and Lil Wayne Working On Joint Album Coming 2021

Juelz Santana and Lil Wayne got a joint project on the way.

Just days after finding out that Jim Jones apparently wanted to put hands on Lil Wayne, there is no word that another Dipset top dog has some new material on the way with Tunechi. Un Kasa of the Dipset clan was chatting with Mikey T, The Movie Star on the Report Card Radio, when he made the big reveal that Juelz Santana and Weezy are cooking up.

“They got a whole new album now,” said Un Kasa. “I ain’t hear none of it. I might have heard some snippets before ‘Elz got incarcerated, but they got a whole new album that they supposed to put out together.”

This is not the first time that Lil Wayne and Santana are collaborating. The two have previously worked on official releases such as “Black Republicans,” “Hot Sh_t,” “Rewind,” “Bad Side,” “Nothing On Me,” “Bloody Mary,” and a host of other tracks. The two were also working on a joint project titled I Can’t Feel My Face, which has yet to see the light of day.

According to Un Kasa, he was there for the creation of that project more than a decade ago.

“Him and ‘Elz might have did a few songs together in the same studio but pretty much that whole project was coming through emails,” he mentioned. “Elz would do a verse and a hook, send it to Wayne. No longer than 25 minutes to a half an hour, Wayne would have that sh_t sent back in an email.”

A new version of Juelz Santana and Lil Wayne's "I Can't Feel My Face" album is still in the works ??https://t.co/XmENzMhSxm pic.twitter.com/NPi2QfvbNv

— Lil Wayne HQ (@lilwaynehq_2) February 9, 2021

There are still questions surrounding just why I Can’t Feel My Face was never released. Kana explains that there were no signs that the rappers themselves had anything to do with it being shelved. “I think the reason that album didn’t go–it wasn’t because of the artists or Wayne or ‘Elz,” he explained. “I don’t think they could figure out the business of it.”

While speaking with Joe Budden a few days ago, Jim Jones spoke about Wayne seemingly jacking his hook on their track “Weather Man,” which he then reworked for a verse on Fat Joe’s “Make It Rain.” Jones revealed that it was Santana who ensured that there was no actual beef between him and Wayne.

It’s definitely a breath of fresh air to know that Santana, who was released from prison last year, has some material on the way. Are you excited for what seems to be a reworked effort of the long await I Can’t Feel My Face?

Destination Anywhere – Permission To Sing Lyrics

I am too shy
To tell you everything I feel
I am so fallen
That I cannot get my meal
I am too scared
To ask your best friend how you feel
I’m in another world
I cannot see what’s real

You are so different
From the other girls I met
And you’re the only reason
Why I’m feeling bad
I would give everything
If you were what I get
And all night long
I’m lying sleepless in my bed
But

I’m not allowed to sing about love
Nobody wants to hear it anymore
I’m not allowed to sing this song
Even this band won’t hear it once more

I’d like to share with you
The sunset of my life
I want to be the only
One who’s by your side
I can’t imagine I could anybody like
As much as you
As much as you

You are the morning
And the evening for me
And when I wake up it’s your
Picture that I see
I don’t expect you feel the same way just like me
That is ok
It is ok
But

I’m not allowed to sing about love
Nobody wants to hear it anymore
I’m not allowed to sing this song
Even this band won’t hear it once more

Sean Paul finally explained to his fans the meaning behind his popular Instagram catchphrase “RRR.”

Sean Paul might be a cool guy, but it can be agreed that half of the time, his fans might not get what he is saying. The ‘Gimme the Light’ artist has finally taken the time to breakdown what one of his famous slangs means. You might have seen Sean Paul reply to fans saying “RRR,” but while many think that it means the roar of a lion, something characteristic of the personality of the Jamaican celebrity and his aggressive nature when it comes to working and releasing music, it also has a deeper meaning as he took the time out to explain.

In a video on Instagram, the artiste said, “alright so RRR!!!, what means RRR? can you figure? Me a wonder. So Nuff people they don’t understand why I keep writing this RRR well RRR is the from the Lionheart, when the lionheart talk, also what it means is Real Recognize Real so when I’m talking I’m talking Real , so I hope you understand me back, yuh understand me back, RRR!!!”

Meanwhile, Sean Paul is enjoying new breakthroughs in music success as he breaks into the music scene. New York is getting strong representation from this year’s Rock and Roll Hall of Fame class of 2021 nominations list. Among those making the cut are New York natives Jay-Z, Mary J. Blige, LL Cool J, Carole King, and the New York Dolls. Dionne Warwick also makes the cut rounding out the nominee’s list with a regional flavor.

The induction will take place in Cleveland in the Fall, and among the other bands in the nominee’s list vying to be inducted are the Foo Fighters, Rage Against The Machine, Devo, The Go-Go’s, and Iron Maiden. Kate Bush, Chaka Khan, Todd Rundgren, and Tina Turner lead the list of solo artists, while for the first time – Nigerian Fela Kuti, who is credited for the rise of Afrobeat, is also included.

Voting polls are now open and fans are encouraged to vote for their favourite artist on rockhall. The top five artists who win the fans poll will get a “fans ballot” that will be counted along with the more than 1,000 judges’ votes to select a final winner.

The judges include the industry’s finest, including musicians, historians, and other representatives of the music industry. The main criteria for induction includes being in the industry and releasing the first recording 25 years ago.

Meanwhile, those appearing on the list for the first time include Foo Fighters, The Go-Go’s, Iron Maiden, Jay-Z, Carole King Fela Kuti, and Dionne Warwick. However, being inducted twice is possible and has occurred for Stevie Nicks- as the only female to have achieved the feat. She was inducted as a Solo Artist and also for her work with Fleetwood Mac.

If selected, Tina Turner and Carole King would join Nicks in the prestigious ranking. King was inducted as a songwriter in 1990, while Turner was inducted for her work with late husband Ike in 1991.

Nas and Hit-Boy Previews Upcoming “E.P.M.D.” Collaboration, Sounds Like A Banger

Nas and Hit-Boy’s upcoming collaboration, “E.P.M.D.”, sounds like it will be a banger

Following their highly celebrated work King’s Disease last year, 2020, Nas and Hit-Boy are looking to reunite forces once again. The pair were positively celebrated following their offering last year, and many fans called for more collaborations. Even so, many figured it would just be a one-album collaboration.

While it’s not a full album, the dynamic duo has teamed up to drop some new music for the upcoming soundtrack for Judas And The Black Messiah. The project has also attracted other big names in the game like Jay-Z, Black Thought, Nipsey Hussle, Rapsody, and some more.

The latest rumors swirling around suggest that Jay-Z was actively waiting on Nas’ release dates since he is also set to make a return on the same Black Messiah soundtrack. Still, it looks like many fans have been paying a bit more attention to what Nas and Hit-Boy have to offer. The latter gave a taste of what was in store for the track, and it sounds like a banger. Hit-Boy posted a snippet of the track “EPMD.” He captioned the post, “While you talkin’ on clubhouse the guns out new Nas x Hit E.P.M.D this Friday.”

“EPMD we back in business,” Nas opens, before adding a bar typical of his style, “I visualize what it is, not what it isn’t / we at the mafia table next to the kitchen, eating Michelin star counting a million. Hood theories, on a Rothstein rigged the world series / Gotti ran every union in the city / N-a-s do it B-i-g like Biggie.”

Nipsey Hussle’s Widow Lauren London Calls Pregnancy Rumors Fake

Nipsey Hussle’s widow Lauren London is speaking out about some new reporting alleging that she is pregnant.

They say the rumor mill is always turning, and today the spotlight is on actress Lauren London. Social media is abuzz with news that London may have a “bun in the oven.” But is this wishful thinking on the part of her fans and well-wishers? Or is there some truth to the stories floating around?

The actress was dating Nipsey Hussle before he was killed back in 2019. She also has a son for the late rapper. London began her career in music videos before transitioning to film and television acting. She rose to fame for her portrayal of Erin “New New” Garnett in the 2006 film ATL.

While we would all love to say congrats to the actress who has had a tough couple of years, we must unfortunately report, these rumors are just that. Hussle’s former bodyguard JRoc has shut the rumors down that London is pregnant. He then decided to capitalize on the press by promoting an upcoming track with Nipsey Hussle and Jay-Z.

JRoc stated via Instagram: “Fake news, you people is miserable but sense we got y’all attention What It Feel Like Hussle x Hov 2/12/21 #TMC.”

London also rubbished the claims of immaculate conception when she took to Twitter earlier today. “Woke up to some straight bulls**t. Rumors ! Lies ! On a woman trying her best to heal?! Please stop. I’m NOT pregnant,” she tweeted.

Reports had emerged from the LA Sentinel claiming a close friend of London had confirmed her pregnancy. The news ultimately led to London getting a trending spot on Twitter. Now that the dust has settled, it seems the perfect time to question if it’s too soon for London to start dating again.

Woke up to some straight bullshit. Rumors ! Lies ! On a woman trying her best to heal?! Please stop. I’m NOT pregnant.

Nipsey Hussle, whose real name is Ermias Joseph Asghedom, was shot and killed in Los Angeles on March 31, 2019, in the parking lot of his The Marathon Clothing store. The legendary West Coast rapper was 33 at the time of his death. Hussle and Lauren London shared one child together, a son name Kross Ermias Asghedom, although they both have children from previous relationships.

Drakeo The Ruler & Drake Collab Leaked Ahead Of Upcoming Album

Drake might be leaking music ahead of his upcoming album.

Leaked music is usually considered a major frustration for hip-hop artists but is a boon for fans. In the latest incident of leaked music, it seems, Drakeo The Ruler’s highly-anticipated collaboration with Drake has been leaked on YouTube just weeks before the release of Drakeo’s upcoming project, The Truth Hurts.

It’s been a growing problem for rap stars, no matter how much clout they have in the industry. A good example of this is Trippie Redd, who’s become synonymous with having full projects leak on the internet. This latest leak is more of a gift for Drake fans as they have been earnestly searching for anything related to Drake’s highly anticipated Certified Lover Boy.

The West Coast rapper Drakeo The Ruler is now the latest victim of leaked music as his anticipated collaboration with the OVO boss, Drake, has been released weeks too early. The track was leaked under the title “Talk to Me,” and it arrived unofficially. Drakeo the Ruler had been using social media to tease pieces of the song as he tried to get fans hyped.

The rapper recently beat a murder case before making his comeback. As he began to break new ground, he declared that he was “too big of a rapper to be signed to another rapper,” and called on Drake for his next project, The Truth Hurts. The song sounds like it will be a hit for sure as Drake takes a humble role and only contributes a catchy hook. There doesn’t seem to be any negative feedback so far from the leak, and he’s made no comment about how it would affect his mixtape.

The original release date of Tuesday, February 23, seems to be still on track.

Rihanna and LVMH Announces Closure Of Luxury Fenty Fashion House

Rihanna and LVMH have agreed to close the Fenty fashion house, a joint announcement said on Wednesday.

In a statement, an LVMH representative is quoted as saying that luxury conglomerate and Fenty “have jointly made the decision to put on hold the RTW activity, based in Europe, pending better conditions.” LVMH fashion house, which carries brands like Louis Vuitton and Hennessy, first announced a partnership with Rihanna in 2019 to open the new luxury brand, Fenty. Rihanna had called the collaboration “an incredibly special moment.”

She added that “Mr. Arnault has givenen me a unique opportunity to develop a fashion house in the luxury sector, with no artistic limits. I couldn’t imagine a better parter both creatively and business-wise, and I’m ready for the world to see what we have built together,” she said in May 2019 after the announcement.

The Fenty Maison is the first LVMH has launched since 1987 with Christian LaCroix. LVMH, a major investor in Rihanna’s investment brain-child Fenty Beauty, Fenty Skin, and Savage X Fenty, will continue to focus on those brands as trends have now changed towards beauty and skincare since the pandemic started. With most countries under lockdown, it was foreseeable that clothing sales will go down for the most part- at least clothing for outings. However, lingerie and comfortable clothing at home sales seem to be on the rise.

Meanwhile, L Catterton – in which LVMH has a stake- is the leading investor in the latter as part of a push for retail expansion.

A Fast Company report noted that Savage x Fenty received $115 million in Series B funding from L Catterton, which effectively brings the brand’s valuation to more than $1 billion. The report said the company’s plan was to build a “lingerie empire,” the likes to have never been seen before.

I can’t believe that its happening to me
It ain’t me, it can’t be
Way sooner than it needed to be
Yeah, it was everything i had for
Now she down tell me what the fuck she mad for
She don’t know about the downfall
She never had withdrawal recall, yeah
Well my addiction is affection

If I had time for love, I’d choose you
We’ve been withered for what we do

Where I pat on those hands are traced
Days rush over me, blind and blue
If I had time for you

Can’t, I can’t get over how it was with you
Favorite night, favorite night
I can’t, I can’t get over how it was with you
Favorite night, favorite night
I, yeah, yeah, yeah
I just like the way you make me feel
I, yеah, yeah, yeah
I just like thе way you make me feel

I, yeah, yeah, yeah
I just like the way you make me feel
I, yeah, yeah, yeah
I just like the way you make me feel

Camila Cabello – Thief Looks Like An Angel Lyrics

Play this song

[Verse 1]
You came in like an angel
And everything was looking right, oh yeah
I got my heart on the table
Got me high like it was Heaven-sent

[Pre-Chorus]
It was midnight, he was a goner
Got no answer, I tried to call ya
Saw the headlights, I knew I lost ya
Stole my kisses, it’s gonna cost ya

[Chorus]
Thief looks like an angel
I saw it coming but he blinded me
Now I see a different angle
He came and took it like a robbery
Oh no, no-no, no-no
Running in circles, running in circles
Thief looks like an angel
I tried to catch him but he got away

[Post-Chorus]
Away, away, away, away
Away, away, away, away
Away, away, away, away
Away, away, away, away

[Verse 2]
He walked out like a monster (Oh)
Left a cold pillow in my bed
Red handed, I caught ya
But you got enough in his hand

[Pre-Chorus]
It was midnight, he was a goner
Got no answer, I tried to call ya
Saw the headlights, I knew I lost ya
Stole my kisses, it’s gonna cost ya

[Chorus]
Thief looks like an angel
I saw it coming but he blinded me
Now I see a different angle
He came and took it like a robbery
Oh no, no-no, no-no
Running in circles, running in circles
Thief looks like an angel
I tried to catch him but he got away

[Post-Chorus]
Away, away, away, away
Away, away, away, away
Away, away, away, away
Away, away, away, away

[Chorus]
Thief looks like an angel
I saw it coming but he blinded me
Now I see a different angle
He came and took it like a robbery
Oh no, no-no, no-no
Running in circles, running in circles
Thief looks like an angel
I tried to catch him but he got away

[Post-Chorus]
Away, away, away, away
Away, away, away, away
Away, away, away, away
Away, away, away, away

Something’s wrong as I look around, I’m getting away
‘Cause I am not moving, instead, I’m sitting dead still

Taking appart your head again

Believe Me!

No matter how you do
There are several ways to

Beenie Man Pleads Not Guilty To DRMA Charges Stemming From Illegal Show

Beenie Man pled not guilty to breaching the Disaster Risk Management and Noise Abatement act.

Beenie Man appeared in court on Tuesday morning (February 10) to see about his recent charges for violating the laws put in place to mitigate the spread of COVID-19. The dancehall star was allegedly charged after hosting an illegal event in St. Elizabeth in late November. Moses Davis, as he is known by the law, appeared in court for his hearing on Tuesday, where he pleaded not guilty to breaching the Disaster Risk Management and Noise Abatement acts. According to his attorney Roderick Gordon, Beenie Man is slated to appear in court again for trial on April 19.

Police reportedly noted that Beenie Man was promoting a New Year’s Eve event in Shrewsbury district, St. Elizabeth parish on social media around the time the government had imposed a stricter curfew and islandwide lockdown policy. The deejay was served with the summons on December 31, 2020, after police say he was warned, and he later reported to the Black River Police Station, where he was processed and charged.

“The summons was served on him yesterday [Thursday] and he was processed,” said Deputy Superintendent Narda Simms, head of the St Elizabeth Police Division in a statement to the Gleaner at the beginning of January. “He was charged under the Disaster Risk Management Act and the Noise Abatement Act for an event held on November 29, at which he was warned by the police for prosecution.”

Sources told Urban Islandz that on the night of the prohibited party, police were summoned to the site of the illegal happenings when the crowd dispersed upon their arrival. Though law enforcement tried to discourage the event from happening, Beenie Man’s influence still clearly reigned supreme.

Now that the Grammy Award-winning deejay is entering his trial with a not guilty plea, do you think his legal counsel can help him beat the case?

Live – Nobody Knows Lyrics

i was on a street with a common name i prayed for love
yeah i even begged i had a vision of you that carried me through

i was on a street with a common name i prayed for love
yeah i even begged i had a vision of you that carried me through

and nobody really knows what i would do for you nobody really knows
how much i love you nobody really knows,
nobody knows nobody knows, nobody knows

i cleared my mind and i turned around grateful to the one

who had laid me down i was silent in love pourin down from above

like so much rain it fell and pierced my brains the trees all alive
with their colors like the dreams of man i had a vision of you
that carried me through

and nobody really knows what i would do for you now
nobody really knows how much i love you baby nobody really knows,
nobody knows nobody knows, nobody knows

Outkast – Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik Lyrics

[Big Boi]

See Juice and gin used to be my friend, from the begin

A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie’s Girlfriend Ella Bands Tweets About Break

It seems A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie’s girlfriend Ella Bands is ready to be single again.

Everyone seems to be airing the details of their love life, sordid or otherwise, on social media. This time around it is New York rapper A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie’s girlfriend Ella Bands. Ella has apparently decided she no longer wants to be in a relationship and took to Twitter to let her feelings be known.

“Treat me right, I do the same. I’m just ready to be single at this point,” she wrote in a tweet that has since been deleted.

Ella has been in a tumultuous relationship for the past few years with A Boogie wit da Hoodie. However, the couple did seem to be making an effort to keep things peaceful for the sake of their daughter and son. She gave birth last summer, but from all indications, they are still at odds.

Treat me right, I do the same

— @SLAYBYELLA_ ? (@ella_thereal) February 10, 2021

Ella has previously accused A Boogie of cheating on her. Last January, photos of the rapper went viral of him getting cozy with another female. When the photos surfaced, Ella was pregnant with their second child. While no one can say at this point what prompted the tweets earlier today, it’s evident all in not well in their camp.

I am sure we will soon get the full story or a version of it to substantiate that deleted tweet pretty soon. Let’s hope they can continue to keep the peace for the sake of the kids.

Kodak Black Gets A $50K Gift From Lil Yachty Just For Getting Out Of Prison

Lil Yachty gave Kodak Black 50 bands as a welcome home gift.

When Kodak Black was serving a prison sentence for the fraudulent acquisition of a firearm, Lil Yachty was among those who advocated for his freedom. The Quality Control rapper even made a plea to Donald Trump as to why the Fla rapper should be granted clemency.

“Hey @realDonaldTrump my friend @KodakBlack1k deserves to be commuted,” Yachty wrote on Twitter in early January. “The system punished him way to hard for a paperwork crime #freekodak.” It was in the stars for Kodak, and the Bill Israel rapper was, in fact, among those who received the presidential pardon by the former POTUS, affording him the ultimate reprieve and the opportunity to be set free more than a year in advance.

Now that Kodak Black is out and can reunite with the people who have been championing for his freedom and supporting his cause over the last few years, Lil Yachty is commemorating the moment with a fat wad. The rappers appeared together in a new video that surfaced on social media, hanging out at a gas station with their friends. In the clip, Yachty hands Kodak a stack of cash before hugging it out. “I got something for you though brother,” said Yachty. “That’s that welcome home gift. Good 50 piece for him.”

Kodak was appreciative, telling the Yachty, “Mos’ def, you know I appreciate it” before bagging the cash and resuming his shenanigans, asking for his friends’ opinions on his choice of eyewear. The group continued having harmless fun outside a 7-11 surrounded by a fleet of Ferraris. Lil Yachty and Kodak Black weren’t always this close, but they obviously grew on each other. The generous QC rapper recently featured on Kodak’s album Bill Israel which was released in November.

Wouldn’t you say we all need a friend like Lil Yachty to spot us fifty grand when we come home?

Snoop Dogg Join Forces With TIDAL & Facebook’s Oculus For A Virtual DJ Event

Snoop Dogg and TIDAL are joining forces with Facebook’s Oculus for a virtual DJ event.

While we all hope that the effects and restrictions of the coronavirus pandemic are slowly coming to an end, there is no definite conclusion in sight. This means that artists are continuing to find new and innovative ways to connect with fans and provide some unconventional entertainment during these difficult times. In collaboration with TIDAL and Oculus, Snoop Dogg will be doing just that by performing a virtual DJ set under the name DJ Snoopadelic on Friday, February 19th. TIDAL announced the event on Twitter writing, “DJ SNOOPADELIC live set on TIDAL and @oculus. February 19th. Be there.”

The event can be accessed through the Venues app and promises to provide a “live, immersive, and intimate” VR performance, airing live from Los Angeles. Snoop has kept plenty busy throughout the last year despite the constraints of the pandemic, proving once again that he is one of the most relevant and versatile artists out there. The West Coast rap icon provided flawless commentary for the Jake Paul and Nate Robinson fight back in November, leading to job offers for him to commentate for nearly every sport. He also teamed up with long-time collaborator Martha Stewart on Super Bowl Sunday this month to co-host the 2021 Puppy Bowl prior to the game.

DJ SNOOPADELIC (@SnoopDogg) live set on TIDAL and @oculus. February 19th.

Be there: https://t.co/FAZK2l9hcQ pic.twitter.com/krf3hZyZDF

— TIDAL (@TIDAL) February 10, 2021

In addition to his many separate entertainment endeavors, Snoop continues to keep his hand in music, going head to head with DMX in a VERZUZ battle back in July and reminding the whole world how many classic hip hop hits he has contributed to the lexicon during his impressive career.

While new rappers seem to be popping up every day and the OGs seem to be fading rapidly, Snoop continues to stay as fresh and entertaining as ever, and there is no sign of him slowing down any time soon.

Chimney Records’ Jordan McClure Challenge Dancehall Producers To Revive “Jugglin”

Can Jordan Chimney revive “Jugglin” in dancehall with his latest push?

When dancehall began to take prominence in the Caribbean in the 80s and 90s, one of the major contributing factors was the juggling culture. The art helped to promote more dancehall and, in some cases, even introduced never-before-heard tracks and artists that went on to do well. A lot has changed since then, and juggling has taken a back seat, at least when compared to its heyday. Music producer Jordan McClure of the Jamaica-based Chimney Records believes it’s time to revamp the culture.

The producer is well-known and is the man behind some of the most popular riddims, like the Country Bus Riddim in 2015 and the Toll Road Riddim in 2016. McClure first highlighted the issue of the dying artform using Instagram. He posted a video sharing his thoughts on the matter and captioned it “Coworkers and producers of dancehall/reggae music #JugglinChallenge.”

Following his two cents on the matter, he also spoke with the Jamaica Observer, where he expounded on the topic. His main goal is to see more unity among the dancehall fraternity. He explained that he believes egos have gotten in the way of the growth of the genre, and this has also negatively affected the art of juggling.

“My intention for this challenge is to develop the ‘jugglin’ culture which we in the dancehall/reggae industry have created and nurtured over a number of years. I do not in anyway think it is a dead culture, however, we have allowed our differences and egos to affect its progress and effectiveness,” he said.

It’s one of the best ways that the artform can be displayed, he added. “Jugglin’ is something that allows us as a genre to showcase different talents and styles of music – all on one platform [rhythm],” he continued.

As such, he has issued a challenge to his peers to try and deliver at least one juggling project this year, 2021. While he knows it takes a lot longer to produce projects of this type, he noted that only a month and a half of the year has passed, so there is still ample time left to get it done. The challenge comes due to his personal observations, he added. He also said that while speaking with artists and producers alike, they had raised the same issue several times.

“Over the last few years, I have had many conversations with lots of our producers, artistes and other industry players who have also expressed concerns about this particular issue. It is something that many of us have noticed and would like to see moving in a more positive direction,” he said.

He went on to share that he had also noticed, from his own personal experience, that just one juggling effort had been enough to benefit the careers of so many different talents. This, he added, wasn’t limited to just Chimney Records. What is really needed at this point is a common understanding, he continued.

“I believe what is missing is common understanding and common vision, and because there are so many talented people in this industry I believe everyone is proving that they can do it on their own – which is true now with the access we all have to technology and social media – however when we combine forces I feel like we can achieve a lot more,” he explained.

He also shared that so far, the response has been positive, something he’s appreciative of as he hopes that his rallying call will help ignite a new fire for the juggling artform.

“The response so far has been great. Lots of people have reposted and replied to it saying positive things; many of the people I mentioned have indicated their support and intention to participate,” he added.

He’s not just issuing the challenge but is also taking part in it. He revealed that he and his team at Chimney Records intend to put all of their effort behind producing jugglin’ for 2021. He added that this was not some fleeting challenge and that they intended to meet it head-on.

“As I said in my post, this is not a typical challenge like an Instagram or TikTok challenge. It is more a call to action for myself and my coworkers to make an effort to improve this part of the industry, which will ultimately benefit us all. Therefore, Chimney Records will be participating the same as everyone – produce some more jugglin,’” he said.

Rapper Eazi Money Accuses Jah Cure Of Theft & Threats, Shares Voice Notes

Eazi Money wants his money back from Jah Cure.

Reggae singer Jah Cure is no stranger to controversy, and he has made the news yet again. This time around, The Cure has allegedly failed to complete his verse of a track he was paid for some four years ago. Urban Islandz caught up with Brooklyn-based artiste Eazi Money to get his side of the story. Eazi recently released a number of voice notes allegedly of Jah Cure on social media in an effort to bring attention to his dire dilemma. He further detailed the unpleasant encounter he has had so far in his attempts to collaborate with the reggae superstar or get a refund of his money.

In the lengthy Instagram post, he rehashed what has been transpiring behind the scenes between himself, his father and the singer. “[Jah Cure] Over 4 years now since I know Cure, my father put a down payment for me and him to do a song together he agreed to do it, we paid him in 2016 guys the first payment, years went by Jah cure didn’t even attempt to record one line for the song, this was before I was verified an was still coming up, just last year now he texts me to pay the full payment mind me he has never attempted to record the song after we paid him to start the song, so me and my father send him the last payment to record the song for the feature because he begged me I have the voice notes also between me and him lol this sh*t is crazy I’m telling you,” he wrote.

He continued, “The man hunt me down an said let’s get it done bro, we pay him and almost a year now still no song, now we confront him about it and this is the response we get, it’s sad because Cure is an artist I actually really looked up to, and his true colors showed especially in the 50 other voice notes I have in my phone with him cussing me out my father, and the DJs again lol I can’t make this sh*t up, but I will never work with him again, horrible business man and a scammer #jahcure #jamaica #scammingcure #curonavirus.”

Eazi Money also posted a few voice notes to the public, which were allegedly sent by Jah Cure as a response to Eazi’s queries about the incomplete track.

“P***y a me name Jah cure, nuh bother think you feel like mi a punk mi connected inna Jamiaca,” states the male voice.

“Yuh a tell mi bout dont worry. A thump mi would a thump yuh inna yuh face when mi see yuh a street and push the 3 gran down a yuh mouth. Bwoy mek mi tell yuh this don’t test mi yuh hear. Bro stop bloodc***t text mi and send the pay pal…. Yuh and yuh father a pu***hole. Yuh father a come text mi overnight inna mi sleep…. Eazi Money if yuh continue to call mi, mi a go just run back yuh money mi rich and mi can’t stop tell u this yuh nuh know nutten bout me an my life and my fren…,” he concluded.

Eazi Money also shared a few screenshots of his various attempts at resolving the matter with Jah Cure’s management team. The artiste has also dropped a diss track directed at the Cure in which he sings, “Man a real yute inna real life. You wan test me betta think twice / A pure voice note send yuh nah fight. Mon a problem yes in real life / P***y bwoy yuh nuh really wan try me. Try fi tek mi money and style me.”

The hashtag #curonavirus has also started to trend. Eazi Money has since taken to social media, thanking his numerous fans, well-wishers, and bloggers for spreading his post and making others aware of what Jah Cure has allegedly done. When we caught up with him, he was quite willing to go into further detail about the alleged incident.

A post shared by Eazi Money (THE LV DON)???? (@bigbagbluehundreds)

With his name now popping up all over social media, we first wanted to get a feel of who Eazi Money was. The rapper, producer, and songwriter was born in Brooklyn, New York, but his parents are of Jamaican birth. His mother a Trelawny native, and his father, a true Kingstonian. Eazi last visited the island back in 2016 when he and his family had to, unfortunately, attend the funeral of a relative. The rapper divulged that he was hoping to have traveled to Jamaica this year, but due to the current pandemic, it seems unlikely. He mentioned that his mother actually contracted the virus, but she is now out of the woods and in better health.

In speaking about his parents, the artiste recalled that Jah Cure disrespecting him was one thing, but making reference to his father was another. The voice notes which were sent left his blood boiling, “it had my heart racing, I wanted to jump through the phone and yoke him up,” but as he is in the States, there was nothing further he could do. The unfortunate incident has certainly left a sour taste in his mouth as he has previously collaborated with Jah Cure before on a medley titled Reggae Vibes, which includes Charlie Clips and Sizzla, among others.

Eazi Money expressed that he “felt Jah Cure was a legend,” and aspired to make music with someone whose voice and tone he “loved.” The rapper first connected with Cure through a fan who connected him to Frass Twinz, who was Cure’s manager at the time. They currently manage dancehall artiste Jahvillani.

Going in-depth about their first meetup, Eazi explained that they met in the studio of Anju Blaxx and other prominent entertainers were in attendance, such as Tommy Lee. He divulged that he paid the “$1500 deposit that same night.” Plans were then set in place for the track, but nothing came to fruition. As the artiste is not very confrontational, he awaited the completion of the track patiently, and before long, four years had passed.

Then on February 15, 2020, he was contacted by Jah Cure, who asked him to once again send the clip of the track and to pay the remainder of the fee. Eazi Money complied and was hopeful that he would now be granted the collab, which he so greatly desired. Sadly, this was not the case as he has now been blocked by Cure’s PR team, but the artiste refuses to take legal action just yet.

For now, he remains hopeful as he continues to put his efforts into his musical passions. He has an EP on the way, “Reggae Vibes & Summer Nights,” slated for release on February 28th, and he also has something in store for Valentine’s Day, which he quotes as “something for the ladies.”

The rapper/deejay, who entered the music world at only 12 years old, infuses Reggae, Dancehall, and Hip Hop into all his self-written projects. He also has upcoming collaborations with Jahvillani, PG Valentina, Junior Reid, 2Reel, and Grafh, Jah Cure’s cousin. That project will be produced by Swooosh Boss and will be released this upcoming Summer. In closing, he mentioned that he is not attempting to gain popularity from the revelations, but he is simply doing what Cure told him to do, “take it to the media.”

Eazi expressed that as an independent artiste, every dollar comes from his pocket, so if he pays the fee for a feature, it is with the expectation that that deal will be fulfilled. He simply cannot be “giving away money.” The artiste stands firmly on the belief that his music “speaks for itself.”

Schuyler Fisk – Paperweight Lyrics

Been up all night staring at you
wondering what’s on your mind
i’ve been this way with so many before
but this feels like the first time
you want the sunrise to go back to bed
i want to make you laugh
mess up my bed with me
kick off the covers i’m waiting
every word you say i think
i should write down
don’t want to forget come daylight
happy to lay here
just happy to lbe here
i’m happy to know you
play me a song
your newest one
please leave your taste on my tongue
paperweight on my back

cover me like a blanket
mess up my bed with me
kick off the covers i’m waiting
every word you say i think
i should write down
don’t want to forget come daylight
and no need to worry
that’s wastin time
and no need to wonder
what’s been on my mind
it’s you
it’s you
it’s you
every word you say i think
i should write down
don’t want to forget come daylight
and i give up
i let you win
you win cause i’m not counting
you made it back
to sleep again
wonder what you’re dreaming

Kanye West and Elon Musk Set To Make Joint Clubhouse Appearance

Kanye West and Elon Musk are teaming up for a Clubhouse meeting, which is expected to be a must-listen for those who have access to the audio-only platform frequented by celebrities who are known to often share their thoughts unabashed.

Clubhouse has become very popular among the iPhone community, which has given those users exclusive access to the app, which functions as rooms with hosts who guide and contribute to various discussions, and this latest meeting with Elon Musk and Kanye West will be no different.

This isn’t the first time that the Tesla, SpaceX, and The Boring Company chief executive officer, Musk, has been on the platform as his presence is usually something that draws enough attention. However, he and the creative Kanye West butting heads is sure to be something many would be tuning in for.

Clubhouse is quickly becoming a popular social media platform as it is used as a networking space for people in the tech industry. Musk, who is always up for banter on the subject matter, was recently on Clubhouse talking to the CEO of Robinhood, the company that made the news after Gamestop shares skyrocketed after Redditors conspired to buy the shares and drive up the share prices, leading to a hedge fund declaring bankruptcy after it initiated market manipulation of the shares by betting against them in the first instance. As a result, many working-class persons were able to cash out big. Well, that’s until Robinhood stepped in to freeze movements on buying or selling Gamestop shares. This led to an outcry as many dragged Robinhood for being an agent for the rich instead of acting in the interest of those a name as ‘Robinhood’ should protect.

Meanwhile, Elon Musk, who shared the announcement, has not shared details as to when the virtual event would be held. However, many reacted positively, signaling they would join. Among them the likes of singer and actor Tyrese, among others.

The most entertaining outcome is the most likely
