Dr. Dre Gave Royce Da 5’9 Some Words Of Encouragement Amid Brain Aneurysm

Dr. Dre sends some positive words to Royce Da 5’9.

This year has already had plenty of bad news, and we aren’t even done with January yet. One headline that had music fans everywhere anxious with worry involved hip hop icon, Dr. Dre. The legend was rushed to the hospital on January 6th after suffering from a brain aneurysm, and initial reports indicated that he was in an ICU being subjected to several tests to find out what had caused the medical emergency.

Dre later confirmed to fans that he was alive and well and would be heading home soon, much to the collective relief of hip hop lovers everywhere.

Now, thanks to rapper Royce Da 5’9, we have even more reassurance that Dre is doing well and will likely make a full recovery from the incident. It seems Royce was also deeply concerned about Dre’s health and decided to reach out to him via text to make sure everything was alright. He posted a screenshot of the conversation on social media, showing his initial message to Dre, which read, “Big Homie. Everything A-1?” According to the screenshot, Dre replied about two hours later, saying, “Hey Royce!! I’m home and feeling much better. Thanks for checking bro.” Royce captioned the post with, “This year is better already.”

Dr. Dre isn’t exactly among the youngest stars in music, but the 55-year-old rapper and producer was in relatively good health before this incident, and it remains a mystery what may have caused such a scare.

Dre Is currently in the middle of a volatile divorce with his longtime wife, Nicole Young, and many have theorized that the stress of the legal battle, as well as the loss of his relationship, may have contributed to his condition. Let’s hope Dre takes care of himself and his mental health as well as possible going forward.

Shiner – Cake Lyrics

i can’t hear my phone,and i’m sure he’s been trying to
call.
there’s a twist in this phoneline now.
here’s a boy
who can’t get them to call.
feels like hell when
he thinks of his life.
lost his interest
and found a new wife.

feed the images
of his two sons,
but my skins thin and underdone.

i will never expect them
to have fixed the landing pad.
i will never expect them
to have cleared my path back home.
that’s the novelty of this debate.
that’s the irony of this debate.
that’s the file that’s been left in my cake.
my teeth won’t break.

Michael Franti – East To The West Lyrics

To the east to the west
To the north and south
To the east to the west
One love people never gonna stop

To the east to the west
To the north and south
To the east to the west
One love people never gonna stop

One to [Incomprehensible], one to sun
One to the mornin’, one to the one
One to air and the freshness we breathe in
One to the force of the change in the seasons

One to the mother from which all the things come
One to the daughters and one to the sons
One to the father who helps us believe that
Nothing’s ever gonna harm you see ’em

One to the soldier who walks city streets
One to the soldier who fights over seasons
One to the man who gets down on his knees and
Prays Oh, God send protection, peace and

To the east to the west
To the north and south
To the east to the west
One love people never gonna stop

To the east to the west
To the north and south
To the east to the west
One love people never gonna stop

One to the woman, one to the man
One to the culture from the time when it began
One to destruction, one to birth
One to the people who used fight for the earth

One to the people who suffer for their needs
And one to the rebels who’ll rock in to their beats
And one to the healer who fights our disease
And one to the lorax who speaks for the trees

‘Cause no amount of money and no amount of man
Can bring back to life what’s gone when it’s gone
And one to the people who rise with the sun

And one to the people who sleep when it’s down, oh

To the east to the west
To the north and south
To the east to the west
One love people never gonna stop

To the east to the west
To the north and south
To the east to the west
One love people never gonna stop

‘Cause all things seem upside down
The whole wide world keeps turnin’ around
‘Cause all things seem upside down
The whole wide world keeps turnin’ around

Life is too short to make just one decision
Music, true love is just one station
Love is too big for just one nation
And God is too big for just one religion

One to the practise for bein’ in the flow
And to the tears of the fingers we let goin’
One to the moment we live in right now
And one to the east, west, north and south

To the east to the west
To the north and south
To the east to the west
One love people never gonna stop

To the east to the west
To the north and south
To the east to the west
One love people never gonna stop

Sing, all things seem upside down
The whole wide world keeps turnin’ around
All things seem upside down
The whole wide world keeps turnin’ around

All things seem upside down
The whole wide world keeps turnin’ around
All things seem upside down
The whole wide world keeps turnin’ around

All things seem upside down
The whole wide world keeps turnin’ around
All things seem upside down
The whole wide world keeps turnin’ around

Travis Scott Clowned Over Potential Verzuz With Future

Travis Scott is getting clowned over a potential Verzuz with Future.

The Verzuz battle between R&B Queens Keyshia Cole and Ashanti is still patiently waiting in the wings after delays caused by Covid-19. Yet, if the rumors in circulation are actually true, hip hop fans could already be looking to save a date for yet another battle. The main question is, do Verzuz fans actually want to see Future and Travis Scott go head to head?

According to Timbaland’s manager, there are already talks about this Verzuz happening. Sadly, at this time, the general consensus surrounding that battle is pointing to a resounding ‘No.’ Both Future and Travis Scott have shown that they have the star quality one needs to attract millions of sales/streams and fans to their live events when that was actually a thing.

That is still not enough for some fans who believe that, for starters, there is too big of a cap between the start of their musical careers. 37-year-old Future started his career in the early 2000s, while 28-year-old Scott’s history began in 2012. In addition to the nearly decade long gap, fans fear that Future’s ability to deliver the goods on a mainstream level while keeping his ears to the streets will prove too much for the “Highest In The Room” rapper.

The Verzuz duo of Swizz Beatz and Timbaland have been doing a great job so far with the battles they have brought to entertainment deprived fans. The initial Verzuz battles started as simple setups between artistes using their phones or other devices. This was until the Verzuz battle between Jamaican veterans Beenie Man and Bounty Killer ushered in a new form of battle, with both members being in the same room and, most importantly, stable audio and internet connection. So far, we have seen the likes of Rick Ross vs. 2 Chainz, Too Short vs. E40, Patti LaBelle vs. Gladys Knight, Brandy vs. Monica, Gucci Mane vs. Jeezy, Fab vs. Jadakiss, Snoop Dogg vs. DMX, and more battle in this format.

With their selection team being on fire for 2020, fans were hoping that they would have selected something to the tune of Future vs. Young Thug to kick start 2021. Since there has not been any formal confirmation of that battle, there could still be time to give the fans what they want.

Lil Wayne Chided By Fans After Honoring Martin Luther King Jr. on Twitter

Martin Luther King Jr. day feels different this year.

After a summer of nationwide Black Lives Matter protests following several murders of Black Americans at the hand of police, as well as the recent attempted coup in Washington D.C. involving white supremacist groups, MLK’s message of Black liberation is especially significant. Many celebrities have taken to social media to remember and honor the Civil Rights leader, including Lil Wayne, who took the time to acknowledge what King’s legacy has meant for his personal success. “Because he had a dream I am able to live out my dreams,” Wayne wrote.

Weezy went on to express his gratitude for King’s work, adding, “I am forever mindful. Forever grateful. Because he had a dream I’ll never stop dreaming and dreams are forever. King. Forever.” While the words seemed plenty meaningful, followers were quick to point out that the sentiment is not exactly in line with his previous endorsement of Donald Trump, a president who has only stoked the racial divide in this country during his one term and empowered white supremacists to try to overthrow the government. However, many fans argued that Wayne only supported Trump to avoid prison time, considering the one-term president is expected to pardon Weezy, among others, during his final days in office.

While it may be true that Lil Wayne only supported Trump to keep his freedom, many followers continued to argue that his MLK post was inauthentic after having posted selfies with such a divisive figure.

Because he had a dream I am able to live out my dreams. I am forever mindful. Forever grateful. Because he had a dream I’ll never stop dreaming and dreams are forever. King. Forever.

“Please keep Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s glorious name out of your mouth AND your typing thumbs,” wrote one Twitter user. “If Dr. King was here today, he would be greatly disappointed in your actions.” Dr. King would have been 92 years old this month if he were still alive.

Please keep Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s glorious name out of your mouth AND your typing thumbs. If Dr. King was here today, he would be greatly disappointed in your actions. He probably wouldn't chew you out because of grace and love, but YOU represent a NIGHTMARE, not a DREAM. https://t.co/mYjI8vUJcQ

Beenie Man Fans Drags Krystal Tomlinson Over Old Shabba Ranks Tweet, She Respond

Some old Krystal Tomlinson tweets are coming back to haunt her.

Former PNPYO President Krystal Tomlinson and veteran entertainer Moses Davis, better known as Beenie Man, have both publicly shared that their once vibrant and loving relationship is over. The news has since surprised many fans who expressed that both seemed rather happy and supportive of each other. The revelation has also left many persons to question where it all went wrong for the couple.

Apparently, some fans decided it was fitting to dig through the past social media activities of Tomlinson in order to decipher what caused the rift. The search has seemingly brought curious tweet diggers back to the year 2012 when the then 22-year-old hinted that Beenie Man was wrong for how he addressed a situation involving Shabba Ranks.

While being interviewed on ER about the major turn out, Shabba Ranks received at that year’s staging of Reggae Sumfest, Beenie Man said, “Listen I don’t business with Shabba Ranks, I don’t business with Popcaan, and I don’t business with Tommy Lee, it’s all about me, do you have something to ask me.”

The comment from Docta has since left a massive void between himself and Ranks.

“Beenie…yuh bittah! Bittah! Me jus born n know sehh big dutty tinkin Shabba is d #Boss. Give credit man, cho!” wrote Krystal in her commentary tweet about the topic.

It seems the most current baby mother of the “Girls Dem Sugar” deejay was able to sample the product for herself and as since classified Beenie as “d #Boss.”

“The Wickedest Slam cleared up this misunderstanding real quick!” She joked in a post-breakup tweet shared earlier today.

Twitter is really a whole other universe but y’all drag me so often I travel with knee/elbow pads.

How unnu find that tweet?

??

— Krystal Tomlinson (@krystomlinson) January 18, 2021

It seems the usually vocal People’s National Party politician is not taking the resurgence of the tweet too seriously, turning a negative into a belly full of laughter to help ease the effect of her recent separation.

I never thought I’d say this but:

Twitter is helping me to find a little laughter and light heartedness through this.

— Krystal Tomlinson (@krystomlinson) January 18, 2021

Krystal and Beenie Man first ignited dating rumors in 2015 and have managed to stay together throughout numerous criticisms. Their relationship has led to the birth of their now 2-year-old daughter Ziah and even displayed signs of blossoming into a loving marriage. There were talks of a possible engagement in January of 2020, which fizzled out in the months that followed. Still, their romance on camera, especially during Beenie’s weight loss journey, is surely undeniable.

Beenie Man recently addressed breakup rumors with a comment that many persons believe alludes to him not wanting to commit.

“Me, free single and disengaged, she free and single and ready to get engaged,” said the “Romie” deejay.

Seven System – Truth Lyrics

We search for truth all life long
Day after day the same old song
We search for truth In brand new places
Reality stares In our faces
Chorus:
I’ve found the truth for me
I live in my reality
Even if it don’t suit you
I’ve found my truth
We find the truth but turn to lies

To suit our greed and our pride

I know the truth it’s in my heart
It’s been evident from the start
Chorus:
I’ve found the truth for me
I live in my reality
Even if it don’t suit you
I’ve found my truth
Research done
Line up your experiments
How can you dispute
My own experience
I’ve found my Truth

People Get Ready – Windy Cindy Lyrics

I tried to steal your place in the picture, yes.
It wasn’t so hard, I lost regardless.
It goes for a long time, now how we got so wise?
How do you’re doing day after day?

I suppose we set your turn
Beer goes through you well as you altered.
Lie when you pour a drink on,
Calling you night, stay opposing between your fingers.

Even your shadow hates to stay around you
You gave me some powders, I do appreciate, yes.

Fix your eyes upon the ralpie between them
A window this high, a new place to start, yes.

I suppose I’d like that
A beer that gets and realize you each town for your
garden
But pour, pour them a round, girl,
In the garden where everything’s over your shoulder.

Cindy, oh, Cindy, I’ve had it all this…
