Randy Travis – He’s My Rock My Sword My Shield Lyrics

He’s my rock, my sword, my shield
He’s my wheel in the middle of the field
He’s the lily of the valley
He’s the bright and morning star
Makes no difference what you say
I’m goin’ on my knees and pray
I’m gonna wait right here for Jesus
Till he comes.

‘Cause Jesus is mine
I am forgiven
I’m holdin’ his hand
I’m goin’ to heaven
‘Cause I found a wonderful savior
Who blesses me forever
I’m his and thank God
He is mine.

He’s my rock, my sword, my shield
He’s my wheel in the middle of the field
He’s the lily of the valley

He’s the bright and morning star
Makes no difference what you say
I’m goin’ on my knees and pray
I’m gonna wait right here for Jesus
Till he comes.

— Instrumental —

He’s my rock, my sword, my shield
He’s my wheel in the middle of the field
He’s the lily of the valley
He’s the bright and morning star
Makes no difference what you say
I’m goin’ on my knees and pray
I’m gonna wait right here for Jesus
Till he comes.

I’m gonna wait right here for Jesus
Till he comes…

[Chorus: Lil Uzi Vert]
I just shot my shot at this little thot
I’m tryna cri-ni-nack on her bi-nack
My niggas sellin’ cri-nack for the sti-nacks
And I got a big, big MAC for the chit-chat
Did a drive-by in a matte-black Hellcat
Picked up a opp bitch in the same Hellcat
Suck up the dick, now the bitch need a Tic Tac

[Verse 1: Lil Uzi Vert & Future]
VVS diamonds and you know they gon’ hit back
S.I. diamonds, yeah, you need to give your wrist back
Wet up the opps, now that boy want his clip back
Dropped his gun in the field, want his stick back
Ever shot a gun ’til that motherfucker click back?
Ever got high off a drug called “Get-Back?”
Came with the drum and it got a lotta kickback
Better duck ya melon ’cause my boy might split that
Got your mama screamin’ out there, “Oh my word” (Oh my word)
They done put your motherfuckin’ brains on the curb, yeah (On the curb)
I ain’t do it personally, but this shit still my word (Still my word)
Even at your funeral, not fresher than a bird (Brr, bird)
I’m way fresher than you even if I roll in dirt (Yeah)
Fertilizer, I’m the shit, make you one with the Earth (Earth)
I can feel the X pill when I smoke the herb (Yeah)
Wonder how my ex feel, she should’ve been a nurse (Yeah)
Different color X pills, look like a box of Nerds (Uh-huh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah)
I still want first place if I’m in third (Uh-huh, phew, phew)
I’ve been rubbin’ on this bitch skin just like it’s Jergens (Yeah)
She let me fuck that pussy for free like she ain’t workin’ (Like she ain’t workin’?)

[Chorus: Lil Uzi Vert]
I just shot my shot at this little thot
I’m tryna cri-ni-nack on her bi-nack
My niggas sellin’ cri-nack for the sti-nacks
And I got a big, big MAC for the chit-chat

[Verse 2: Future & Lil Uzi Vert]
My bitch bad so I gave her that Lamb’ truck
Your bitch a ho, so I fuck with my pants up
Pull up in the Rolls truck, I’m tryna do donuts
Goin’ bi-coastal, you niggas too loco
My dawgs on a poster, the gun’s at the holster
My dawg gon’ smoke ya’, he already want it
You treat me like God, just know I’m anointed
I can’t see my cup and I can’t see no opponent
Went bought her that Patek, it’s coming in yellow
I ball like Carmelo, the Royce Roc-A-Fella
I’m movin’ real mellow, but movin’ with hollows
I’m purchasin’ models, I’m purchasin’ bottles
From down south of France, this one from Monte Carlo
The Richard, the Presi’, no, this not Movado
You bitches too petty, you didn’t hit the lotto
You should’ve got more, but you got what you swallowed, ha
I done took a point-blank range at a thot-thot
Made her suck the cock-cock, right on the spot-spot
Tore them bitches up, might as well be a chop-shop
Told her she can no longer shop at Topshop
Chanaynaynay and Balmain on a bop-bop
Drippin’ and spillin’, bitch, you better bring a mop-mop
I just killed a cat on the street, that my word (Oh my word)
Hoppin’ out the ‘Rari, sittin’ lower than the curb (Yeah, on the curb)
Ever since I got rich, I’m trickin’ in with Vert (Still my word)
Took lil’ bitch shoppin’ at the mall, spent a bird (In the ‘burb)
Ninety thou’ for a brick of heroin off of shurbs (Yeah)

[Chorus: Lil Uzi Vert]

But I’m blessed, forty hours back to back I think I need some rest, look

I thought God wasn’t walkin’ with me, found out it was a test (What? What? What?)
It’s a test, gettin’ married, gettin’ therapy, that’s things I don’t regret, uh
Grandma told me, “Watch your mouth ‘causе, boy, you gettin’ fresh”
When you rеally love yourself, who else is there to impress? No one left

[Break]
All gas no brake
All gas no brake

[Verse 2]
Whole crew, everybody ten toes down (Everybody ten toes)
Real skill, no gimmick, never trolled out (I ain’t never did that)

When I show up then you already know I’m ’bout to show out (What’s that talk?), yeah
Didn’t get the job done, that’s the way you know you finna get blown out (No I can’t)
Do you run the drama only if you know that I’m ’bout to roll out? (Oh yeah)
And bomba that bonchinche ’cause we grown now, yeah

Bustdown her neck like that shit wasn’t okay

I’m seein’ so much hate around my way
Ice on freezer, thirty below
Ice on the pussy, you know how it glow
Three hundred hitters, they ready to blow
Keep it one thousand and keep it uncut
You gotta meet a nigga at the dock
I’m ’bout to do a three-sixty in your spot
‘Bout to do a three-sixty turnin’ off the lot
‘Bout to do a windmill in your thot
See, I’m her baby
She gon’ be there for me a trillion billion times

Bleachers – 45 Lyrics

Play this song

[Verse 1]
Count the steps around the park
Consider drinking in the yard
Hang the words of a perfect stranger in the hallways of my heart
‘Cause all the blessings are somebody else’s
They’re flowers in my neighbor’s pot
I’m torn exactly into two pieces
One who wants you and one who’s gone dark

[Chorus]
But I’m still in sight
Your fast machine
Always holding your love supreme
Our 45’s
Spinning out of time
But honey, I’m still on your side

[Verse 2]
Are my hopes finally gonna waste me
Am I the worst compass I could know
So I took the bus across the bridge
Sold my bedroom from my home
Maybe it’s the East Coast in the music
Or the endless road from the past
But while you’re praying at the 90s
They’re carving up anything that lasts

[Chorus]
But I’m still in sight
Your fast machine
Always holding your love supreme
Our 45’s
Spinning out of time
But honey, I’m still on your side

[Bridge]
Now you’re just a stranger that I know best
Now you’re just a stranger that I know best
Now I’m just a stranger that you know best

[Verse 3]
There ain’t no book that I can live by
Just these naggings I can’t shake
A hum coming from the basement
A little crying out for crying out’s sake
‘Cause if I can learn to love your shadow
When your shadow hits the light
And there ain’t no trace of what we’ve been through
Then I’ll shout it till the day that I die

[Chorus]
I am still in sight
Your fast machine
Always holding your love supreme
Our 45’s
Spinning out of time
But honey, I’m still on your side

[Outro]
I’m still on your side

You-you the only one that I’m gonna listen to

You, you-you, you, I’m that cool dude
Fresher than new shoes, crazy swag, cuckoo
Big bag, good coupe, got me a new boo
My whip too new, I can whip two dudes
Pulled up with my tools, if you a loose screw
Diamonds on my tooth, I can talk to the jewels
Money change my mood, keep on winning, no, I can’t lose
I can knock that girl right out of her shoes
Hit from the back, make that girl say, “Ooh” (Yeah)
(Woah, it’s Lil Uzi Vert)

The streets put me on, I’m a savage
Makin’ chess moves, knowin’ I’m advancin’
Come from projects to livin’ in mansions
Dirty dollars, they worser than cancer
I done seen it, wasn’t takin’ any chances (I done seen it)
She’ll be stackin’ it up and romancin’ (Stack it up)
Tryna please everyone around you
Causing mayhem, causing madness
Fallin’ hella deep but I ain’t crashin’
Do you represent passion? (You, you, you)
Feelin’ new-new, everlasting
Living the life I always imagined
Treat me like Christ in the trenches (Treat me like)
Treat me like a god, I’m so rebellious
They lie to me, that’s gon’ make me so much fuckin’ better
All this Coco Chanel have a bitch cuckoo (Yeah)
Baby, mean mug, chains on, it’s a mill’ or two (Chains on me)
Slurpin’ me like noodles (Slurp me)
Thanks to the new-new
Snatchin’ her a Bentley Coupe (Snatchin’ that coupe)
[Refrain: Future]
And when you look in my eye, you make me delirious, yeah, yeah
And then I started to fall, that’s something serious (Fall), yeah (Fall, fall)

Let me remind these fools that I’m Doe’d Up
The little muppets I’m Doe’d up
I was gonna stop acting bad but I’m Doe’d Up
I gotta thank god that I’m glad I’m Doe’d Up
The little donuts

[VERSE 1]
They wanna be like me when they grow up
Everything built from the roads up
The way I bought the Huracan cash
The car salesmen was so shook
An I’m Luchiano now but back then I never had no luck
I’m meant to be dead right now but I rose up
I don’t need no label to pay my P
Your one million couldn’t sign me
I wear B.Malone a lot these days
Cause man got tired of Nike
I’m insulted by the proposal
It’s like they forget I’m the mogul
The trainers are in JD Australia
And that means we’re going global
I don’t wanna be anti-social
But I’m gonna have to get vocal
I don’t represent no post code
Im king of the north, im noble
Watch when they see the new crib
And im keeping the old one
And an apartment in south
We come a long way from Bury New Road

[VERSE 2]
I nearly bought me an aeroplane
And I swear my accountant thought I was losing the plot
I made money cause I got tired of the block
So I don’t really wanna know who’s getting shot
I don’t wanna know who’s been nicked
When an encro could’ve been sending out pics
There’s no real jobs on the roads no more
That’s why I’m not in a dinger with a stick
Think I wasn’t out there putting in shifts
Think I didn’t learn how to oil it, bury it, dig it up
And never tell anyone shit
All I ever wanted to see was a [?]
Early 20’s when I was touching a meter
Back when the Benz was a little 4 litre
Now I’m in no less than a 700 brake horsepower
And the pockets are deeper
Still saving like I was a goal keeper
Expensive I don’t wanna go cheaper
Done Rolex then I done AP
Now the skeletons on show like I was the reaper
I told AJewellers that it was a keeper
I’m the lyrical painter
And they built man a crown
To remind me not to look down, no major

[VERSE 3]
Man come to the Vatican
Pushed through the gates so I battered him
Should’ve had the wap on him
It wasn’t me that had the brick my dawg
Don’t get mad cause you got wigged my dawg
Sit down, sit down everybody backed off
It’s like man think that I’ve never been robbed
Last man that tried had to run that back
Pulled up in a subs trying to hit knee caps
Are you mad, are you mad
Do you think I would get 1 nights sleep
If I ever got had
And I don’t like robbing I’m a grafter
Run run with the money and I’ll grab you
Them man turn bad now than I’m famous
Like I didn’t make man jump out he’s own bedroom window
It wasn’t in the paper when I got nicked on an attempted murder
What goes on in the hood just stays there
I’m in the limelight now so I’m on my best behaviour
I was on my bike and I nearly died
But I’ve nearly died a couple times
Like when man let shots off out the X5
We still stayed out all night
Man come to the Vatican
Like I wouldn’t clap back at them
It’s gonna be sad for them
When I go platinum
I’ve got an album on my laptop
Let me empty the Mac on them

Been listenin’ to my thoughts and lately I’ve been concerned
Feel like my soul on fire, let that motherfucker burn

(Therapy for my soul)
I had a few hits, even had a few misses

(Therapy for my soul)

[Verse]
I ain’t never been the one to complain, that’s win or lose
Made moves and paid dues, walk in my shoes
It’s like a nigga came with directions, I really made me
I was drownin’ then I threw me afloat, I really saved me
Put down everything that I love, that’s on my legacy
Never fucked over nobody to make a better me
If you ask me what happened with Kink, we grew apart
Tried to sue, he took me to court, shit broke my heart
Same nigga you made a millionnaire, sue you for millions
Made man and he want it all, none for my children
If One-Five wasn’t my dawg, I would’ve touched them
When that shit went down with Gibbs, I couldn’t trust ’em
Invested my hard earn money, tied up my bread
But he gon’ try to tell you I’m flawed, that’s in his head
It’s happening just the way that I said it, good on your own
And if I’m honest nothin’ gangsta about you, leave this alone, yeah
And everybody wonderin’ what happened with me and Coach
Same shit that happened between Tommy and Ghost
‘Cause yeah the checks comin’ in but the trust ain’t there
I would say it’s all him but that wouldn’t be fair
I was fresh up out the streets, tryna fight my own demons
Knew somethin’ wasn’t right, guess I had my own reasons
Mission impossible, I ain’t on a plane now
Shake took his own life, I ain’t understand that
Had me feelin’ numb, laid in bed for a week
Eyes didn’t close one time, that’s a week with no sleep
I’ma keep it solid, he the reason me and Ross talk
Never ashamed to admit that I was wrong, yeah that’s boss talk
Since we talkin’ boss talk, let’s address the sucka shit
Grown man playin’ on Instagram, real sucka shit
Why the fuck this clown nigga playin’ with my legacy?
Solid in these streets, that’s some shit that you will never be
Talking ’bout power, but weak niggas do the most
In real life, nigga you really borrow money from Ghost
All that lil’ boy shit, yeah it make it evident
Made millions in these streets, what the fuck is 50 Cent?
And it’s still Free Meech, love him if he right or wrong
But the streets wanna know, do we really get along
If you askin’ me, nigga, that’s one thousand percent
If I did somethin’ wrong then I gotta repent
Ain’t no hatred in my heart, ain’t no hatred in my veins
If you felt me being distant, think it’s time to explain
And I was stickin’ to my plan while Raf Simons took the stand
He tried to G-Money me, what’s happenin’ with your man?
Tried to throw me in your case
Guess he tryna save face
No exception, know the rules, I just handled it with grace
And I ain’t sayin’ that you told him to do it, I know better
Still the same nigga, nothin’ but love, that’s forever
See my ego and my pride, yeah, I put it all aside
Reminiscing ’bout all them late nights we used to vibe
When it’s all said and done, we’re brothers, your mother love us
The feds did you dirty, can’t stand them motherfuckers
Speaking ’bout brothers, welcome home, Tee
A nigga might owe you money, but that nigga ain’t me
I be lookin’ for the truth ’cause that shit be hard to find
All these lies and these rumors, fuckin’ with my peace of mind

[Chorus]
Been listenin’ to my thoughts and lately I’ve been concerned
Feel like my soul on fire, let that motherfucker burn
Man nobody gave me shit, I wait my motherfuckin’ turn (Turn)

Bet these fuck niggas gon’ run, no, they not with nothin’ (Nothin’)
And your bitch wanna use her tongue, told her give me some (Yeah)
Nigga ask questions, no, I don’t know nothin’
Big-ass chain, yeah, it cost four somethin’
How you so rich, but you look so young?
Brand new bitch and her ass so dumb
How you in the trap but you never sold nothin’?
Now I got bread, I ain’t have no crumb
Say you a big bee, but you never stung nothin’
Said I fell off, you ain’t had no run (Yeah)
Must be my clone, ’cause you ain’t my son
And your bitch know I shine like one
Not number three, number two, I’m one
Never took a L ’cause I won
I can’t fail, on my mom
Went to Hell, bitch, it’s fun
She give nail ’til she dumb
I can tell when she cum

[Chorus: Lil Uzi Vert]
Yeah, I’m ballin’, Toni Kukoč
It’s no roof, bro, I got two doors
I got two hoes, me and Pluto
Baby Sasuke, not Naruto

[Bridge: Future & Lil Uzi Vert]
(Yeah)
Your bitch, she givin’ me head, now it’s goin’ down
(Yeah, let’s go)

[Pre-Chorus: Future & Lil Uzi Vert]
I know you don’t love me, but I love you
And when I fuck (Fuck), make my mind up (Up)
Your bitch signed up (Up)
How you find us? (Us, how?)
Now she slidin’ up (Yeah, ayy)

[Chorus: Future & Lil Uzi Vert]
Yeah, I’m ballin’ (Ballin’, ayy), Toni Kukoč (Kukoč)
It’s no roof, though (Roof, ayy), I got two hoes
I got a few hoes like Baby Pluto (Yeah, ayy)
Yeah, I’m icy (Yeah, ayy), buy a new boat

[Verse 2: Future & Lil Uzi Vert]
I got diamonds on my arm, ballin’ just for fun
I be doin’ this shit, goin’ dumb, you know I’m upper echelon
She just kissed my ring, she gon’ have me sprung
Let me lick your coochie, yeah, ’cause she the one
I just broke bread, yeah, she don’t like no crumbs (Freebandz, yes)
Got a hundred rounds on it, this a tommy gun (Baow)
She so damn bougie, that’s that one I want (Yeah)
Cop the his and her Spur, I bought more than one

[Bridge: Lil Uzi Vert]
Ayy, ayy
Ayy, ayy, yeah
Ayy, ayy, baow
Ayy, yeah

[Chorus: Lil Uzi Vert]
Yeah, I’m ballin’, Toni Kukoč
It’s no roof, bro, I got two doors
I got two hoes, me and Pluto
Baby Sasuke, not Naruto

[Outro: Lil Uzi Vert]
I want you, yeah

Russ – Stockholm Syndrome Lyrics

Play this song

[Intro: Russ]
Yeah
After this, I don’t even wanna talk to people, you feel me?
Hahaha, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
Let me just get right to it
Yeah, come on

[Verse 1: Russ]
This is bigger than a post with an irrelevant caption
This is organized knowledge and intelligent action
This is since ‘06, tryna create legacy
Boss talks, stocks, real estate and equity
You fake Pat Beverleys always tryna shut down Russ
You foul, stay the fuck from ’round us
Cause you can’t fuck with me so you lie instead
You lazy, you Blac Chyna head
But I can’t give ’em clout, that’s a courtesy bag
Can’t forget how bad I wanted what I currently have
Selective memory, I’m blocking all the bad games out
Even though I got more fuck-ups than a halfway house
But since the masks came out, I’ve made M after M
You not a boss (Nah) you get your percent after them
That’s rough (Yeah) money slowin up, no more audience
The Fashion Nova ads and OnlyFans made it obvious
I’m sorry but I’m not (Not) my sentiment is
Is y’all stay throwin shots so you can get what you give
Fuck you back then, right now and tomorrow (Haha)
I’m high in Africa, smokin Kilimanjaro
I’m a young god (Yeah) but still I bleed
So I don’t post where I’m at (Uh) until I leave
And they killin black people like it’s nothin
Actually it’s past the point of killing, this is hunting
Gotta do something (Something) gotta do my part (Yeah)
So I went and raised a half a million for the cause (Yeah)
Shout out to the ones on the frontlines gettin they fight on
I’m talkin ’bout Tamika, I’m talkin ’bout Mysonne
I’m keepin the lights on for my whole damn family
So I don’t give a fuck if some hoes can’t stand me
I still want Grammys, tell the chapters
Artists go broke cause they sell the masters
You a player, I’m an owner so I’m richer than most
How you diss me in a song and you sittin in coach?
The audacity (Shh) I’m getting tired of y’all
Keep it real, deep down, I’m inspiring y’all
You know the show biz says don’t plan real idiots
My goal is buy land, build businesses
My lawyer and my manager are Ashkenazi
Building empires like Ghazi Shami
Skins real smooth but my wrist is rocky
I don’t want the pussy if you drink Dasani
Lookin in the mirror like I knew we’d make it (Knew it!)
500,000 for the Boosie bracelet
Another 100,000 for the MJ hoops
Success came true, ooh
Different colors, I know you gonna remember these eyes
I could give a fuck less if an enemy dies
Fuck them, fuck you, hut one, hut two
Set, hike, hand it off to myself, run through
All the obstacles, I’m always callin audibles
My come up is phenomenal, I feel like I’m responsible
For artists tryna do it they own way and move at they own pace
It’s you vs. you dawg, you runnin your own race
I’m locked in, after this, I’m top 10 dead or alive
You better decide which side of the fence you reside
Cause I don’t fuck with the back and forth
I make a bitch go get it like a Labrador
I’m a platinum plaque ambassador
Cause I don’t got one career dawg, I mastered four
But I’m not done yet (Nah) the critical thought is
The industry is run by invisible bosses
Through the midst of the fog, I can see what’s true
Only way to beat the game is don’t play it, fuck you

[Interlude: KXNG Crooked]
Come on, man, we playin’ a whole ‘nother game, right Russ?
Ayo, I remember listenin’ to your shit on SoundCloud
You in jets now
Tell these niggas how them clouds sounds
Since they at it backwards, hahaha

[Verse 2: KXNG Crooked]
One of the best to ever do it, on G-O-D
Twenty plus in the game, yellin’, “C-O-B”
‘Cause the industry is all about who dicks who
Who broomsticks who
With no Vaseline, they just move shit through
Nigga, who is you? They gon’ screw him too
You came into this game to be a cool rich dude
Eatin’ Ruth Chris food, buy your new bitch a new Shih Tzu
But the true issue, they gon’ treat you like a Rubik’s Cube
Then they kickin’ you out quicker than jiu jitsu
Nigga, boo hoo-hoo
Ain’t nobody cryin’ when all of a sudden your career doesn’t exist
Couple of hits, you don’t know, got you stuck in the ditch
Wonderin’ if you should end it all cuttin’ your wrists
Sick of diggin’ in your pockets, touchin’ nothin’ but lint
Wonderin’ where the fuck your publishin’ went, a hundred percent
To the company, and now you livin’ under a bench
Unless a nigga like Hov wanna come to a brother defense
Poor us, only the money can cure us
Jimmy Henchman puttin’ coke on the tour bus
The allure of gettin’ rich is what lured us
Into that trap of bein’ rappers slash trappers
If they clap us, the label is gettin’ fat ’cause
They assure us but never ensured us
That we would get a piece of the pie
Seem like we got the green light to die (Sure does)
I used to sit low in my 64
With my pistol on my hip, yo
Gettin’ hypno-tized by the Cisco
I would sip slow ’til I was sick, yo
Head throwing up out the window
Didn’t know how to get home, when I did though
I would tip-toe to my crib ‘fore I let the shit pour
To my bottle then I was Guantánamo
I would get low like a schizo’ on Skid Row
Drinkin’ myself in the grave, depressed person
Now I don’t chase Henny, I chase the best version
Of myself, I’ll be in the CLS swervin’
Rims so big, look I’m in an Excursion
I’m hardworkin’ and God workin’
Like a heart surgeon, my heart’s urgin’
I was Kunta Kinte now I’m Geordi La Forge
Slaveship to the spaceship, damn I’m LeVar Burton
Open the stargate and I’m at you with ISIS
Wrote a letter to Suge sayin’, “I’m still the nicest”
‘Til it’s over, I’ll be grippin’ the pistolas
Sippin’ some Crip Cola, right where Killer Mike is
Leavin’ the mic’ lifeless that’s what’s killin’ mics is
Hail to the lyricists, we’re gonna be from the Genesis
Your emphasis is money but you really just a dummy
The labels the ventriloquists, here’s what the real advice is
Before the jewelry, get some real estate
Put some lawyer money up like you dealin’ weight
Keep it a hunnid, G, whoever wanna eat
Tell ’em all, “Bring somethin’ to the dinner plate” (Word)
Get your credit straight, nigga, meditate
Keep a shooter that’ll never ever hesitate (Boom, boom)
Remember this jewel in the future
Keep one step like Medusa, ahead of snakes

Never told, hard to [?] with a padlock

[Chorus: Meek Mill, Offset & Quavo]

I’ma chop the head off of my Lambo, ain’t no dandruff (Skrrt)
Boy, that’s cap, you ain’t touch no M, you touched a fraction (That’s cap, that’s cap)
I smoke cookie, I can’t breathe like Toni Braxton
We from the Nawf serving bags up out the cabinets (Cabinet)

Bobby Brown’s Son Bobby Brown Has Died At 28

Bobby Brown is mourning the death of his son.

Being Bobby Brown is not an easy feat at this exact moment as the rapper/singer/songwriter is being sent into another tragedy following the recent revelation his son Bobby Brown Jr. has died. The tragic news was shared by TMZ, who confirmed that the 28-year-old was found dead in his home on Wednesday. As documented by TMZ, the initial police investigation show no signs of foul play. Additional information surrounding Brown Jr’s death is still being compiled by law enforcement.

Bobby Brown Jr. was actively posting on his Twitter account mere hours before his untimely passing. His last tweet read, “If me and my girl can’t hit, I’m not hitting,” hinting that the rapper was in good spirits. On November 17 he asked for assistance with his Instagram app. “Okay so Instagram has forced me to not post stories. I honestly do not understand the update. If you can’t help me then SMD . But if you can hit me.” On November 15 he shared a few sweet photos of himself spending time with his lady.

This is not the first tragedy to mark the Brown family, as in 2012, Bobby’s ex-wife, r&b and pop superstar Whitney Houston, was found dead in a tub at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. Her death was ruled as an accidental overdose. Three years later, Whitney and Bobby Brown’s daughter Bobbi Kristina would perish in a similar fashion. She was found in a tub in her Georgia home after downing a mixture of alcohol and other heavy drugs. She died on July 26, 2015, after spending months in a medically induced coma.

Bobby Brown Jr. would go on to speak about his sister’s death on social media. “People really dont give a f— about you unless your relevant , and they don’t love you till your famous or gone. I don’t want these follows,” he tweeted. “This is real life for me, this is my life, my sister. Not a f—ing trending topic.”

Urban Islandz will provide additional information on this story as it develops.

RIP Bobby Brown Jr.

Spice To Sit Down With Former Foe Lisa Hyper In New Season Of “Spice It Up!”

Spice It Up! is back for another season and promises to be bigger and better. That’s according to the Queen of Dancehall, Spice, who made the disclosure on her YouTube channel. By the looks of it, she intends to cover some raunchy topics.

What’s interesting, though, is that it seems that Lisa Hyper will make an appearance in this season. This suggests that the two have really mended their bitter past. In July, Spice accepted Lisa Hyper’s apology, which was posted on Instagram, which effectively ended their 12-year feud.

Things were pretty heated between the two deejays, and in 2009, Hyper put out a diss track called “The Truth and Draw Me Out.” Following the apology, Spice also unblocked Hyper from her Instagram account. At that time, Spice said, “Apology accepted. And I’d like to apologize to you too because, at the end of the day, the disrespect wasn’t one-sided.”

“I too retaliated towards you in my diss song in a very derogatory manner. I can tag you now because I just unblocked you after 10 years. Wow, den a so mi keep malice long.” Now it seems it’s all water under the bridge. In another part of that post Spice also said she held no malice towards Hyper.

Hyper’s heartfelt apology read, “Spice I’m sorry for the way I allowed the traditions of war in our music made me feel and treated you. You have done wonderful things for this business, females in the business and Jamaica. I want to let you know Im humbled and I appreciate you. I’m not sure how this will play out but from my heart I am sorry and I pray God intervenes where ever evil doers try to create anymore animosity.”

With regards to this season, Spice promised that: “This season is even hotter, popular guests, better discussions and a few surprises…it’s epic to say the least.” On her Youtube page, she added: “The wait is over! ??? Season 2 of #SpiceItUp is finally here ? Get ready fi some spicy convos between Spice and the guests you asked to see!” while making sure to tag her sponsors Magnum.

The new season will kick off today, November 18, and features an interview with one of Jamaica’s most loved couples these days, The Mitchells. Dancehall star Konshens is also expected to make an appearance. The prolific Bounty Killer and Elephant Man are also carded to make an appearance at some time over the season.

Kamal Powell, Magnum’s regional brand marketing manager, also shared about Magnum’s excitement that the show had returned.

“Season 2 has been a long time in the making but definitely worth the wait. Exciting guests, scintillating topics, and Spice’s personal touch make season 2 the best yet viewers are certainly in for a treat,” he said, adding that, “we are proud to partner with our ambassador in this way and elated to have this very influential show on Magnum Hub.tv.”

Nicki Minaj and Tekashi 6ix9ine Mines Platinum With “Trollz”

Nicki Minaj and Tekashi 6ix9ine got a platinum plaque for “Trollz.”

Flamboyant rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine has been laying low ever since the release and ultimate downward spiral of his album Tattle Tales. Thankfully, his absence has not stopped his core fans from tuning in to his music to get a fix off the rainbow-haired troll. 6ix9ine may just owe his fans and presumably his favorite collaborator Nicki Minaj a great deal for ensuring he stays streaming and gleaming with yet another plaque from the RIAA.

The former Trey way rapper recently secured another Platinum award for his track “Trollz.” The song and music video, which dropped in June, marked his second release after flexing his get out jail card provided for being a model informant. The song would follow his massively successful “GOOBA” and would earn him his first Billboard Number 1.

Nicki Minaj also contributed and benefited heavily from the feature, since she also copped her first Billboard Number 1, along with gifting her Barbz a verse many now listed as one of their all-time favorites from their Queen. “Trollz’s” official music video now stands at over 300 Million views on Youtube, which simply dwarfs other tracks from Tattle Tales.

The official view count for “Trollz” is only negated by “GOOBA,” which has over 600 Million, and another Nicki Minaj assist cut “FEFE,” which is mere inches away from giving 6ix9ine is first 1 Billion streamed video. The union between Nicki and Tekashi has definitely provided some epic collosol streaming numbers.

A closer examination of other tracks that Nicki Minaj has featured on actually reveals that the female powerhouse definitely pulls her weight when it comes to those numbers. Thankfully Nicki didn’t hang up her rapping boots as she planned in 2019, or Doja Cat and 5ix9ine may have never grabbed their first Billboard toppers.

By the way, what Tekashi 6ix9ine song are you still vibing to?

T.I. Agrees With Fivio Foreign That Rappers Have The Most Dangerous Jobs

Fivio Foreign says rappers have the most dangerous jobs and T.I. agrees.

Gun violence is an epidemic in America, and unfortunately, we have seen its tragic effects weighing heavily on the hip hop community in recent weeks. Just this month alone, rapper King Von lost his life during a shootout in Atlanta, only to be followed by the shooting death of Mo3 a few days later. Then, at a memorial for Mo3, shots were fired, and Boosie Badazz was reportedly injured while paying his respects to his friend and collaborator. Boosie has since spoken out to let his fans know he is doing okay after what has been reported as a leg wound, similar to the wound inflicted on Benny The Butcher during a recent altercation at a Walmart.

All this violence has prompted several rappers to speak out, including a comment from T.I. that many fans felt was disrespectful.

After the death of King Von in Tip’s hometown, the Atlanta rapper took to social media to ask that people keep their beefs in their own city rather than bringing the drama to ATL. Many felt that the request was ill-timed, including 50 Cent, who responded to the comment by warning T.I. that his words could have serious repercussions.

Now, New York artists Fivio Foreign has tweeted about all this madness, saying, “Rappers are da most targeted people on planet earth..Target by police, by otha Rappers, by Media, By civilians & everybody else dat feel like we shouldnt have all da things we have!” Apparently co-signing this declaration, T.I. shared the post on Instagram, captioning it with the emojis for “No cap.”

Somewhat prophetically, Boosie also shared this opinion in a recent interview, saying, “We got the [most] dangerous job as rappers. Nobody has a more dangerous job”. The intersection of racism, violence, and celebrity is something that has long been examined within hip hop, and certainly has real consequences for those who make it in the rap game.

Tory Lanez Posts Insensitive Video Flexing In Mexico After Thee Stallion Shooting Court Date

Tory Lanez is in great spirits after pleading not guilty today.

After pleading not guilty in the Megan The Stallion shooting case earlier today, Tory Lanez is showing fans what he’s really been up to while in-person court hearings have been suspended. The rapper submitted his plea, but he was nowhere near a courtroom. As a matter of fact, he wasn’t even in the country.

Troy took to Instagram to give an update on what he is up to with an off-the-top jingle about being in Mexico when he has court. In his best Jamaican accent, the Canadian rapper sings over a dancehall-type beat heard playing on loudspeakers. “Dem did seh mi have court today / But mi out in Mexico / N***a jus a clean the pool,” he sang turning the camera towards the poolboy.

A studio mic and equipment was set up in the home, indicating that Tory was working on music while the world was learning that he pled not guilty today. While we sincerely hope the court mockery was not what he was chopping up, it appears the rapper was just in a good mood. In the Instagram story he posted, Tory typed, “Blessings we sayyyyy” with a series of feel-good emojis.

The Shaderoom reshared Tory’s story on their Instagram page, prompting the rapper to respond in the comments. “Y’all could have left this in my IG story where it belongs,” he wrote with the facepalm emoji before removing the facetious sing-song from Instagram stories.

Tory Lanez was accused of shooting Megan Thee Stallion with his personal firearm on July 12, 2020, in Hollywood Hills, California. In the high-profile case that has gotten major publicity since the incident occurred, Lanez was arrested for a minute on account of carrying a concealed weapon, but he was only recently charged for assault with a firearm in connection with the shooting. He maintains that he is innocent.

What do you think about Tory’s attitude on the day of his court hearing?

Dr. Dre’s Soon To Be Ex-Wife Calls Him Out For Using COVID To Dodge Deposition

Dr. Dre is getting called out by his estranged wife Nicole Young for using COVID concerns to dodge deposition.

Things tend to get messy in the process of divorce, perhaps even more so when there is a massive amount of money on the line. Despite having upheld a seemingly happy marriage for more than two decades, Dr. Dre and his estranged wife, Nicole Young, are now in the midst of heated legal battles and non-stop accusations.

The latest claim comes from Nicole, who says that Dre is using the current pandemic to get out of fulfilling his legal obligations. According to TMZ, Young wants Dre to be physically present for a deposition, but the hip hop mogul has declined, citing social distancing guidelines.

Dr. Dre has, however, agreed to conduct the deposition via Zoom, but Nicole doesn’t think the excuse is legit. According to Young, Dre has “freely entertained” guests in his home over the last several months and showed up to social functions “without implementing even the slightest amount of social distancing protocol.” She also went on to insinuate Dre’s activities span beyond casual social gatherings, saying that he has been seen “entering and exiting the homes of multiple women around the Los Angeles area.”

Dre and Nicole have been battling it out in court ever since Young filed for divorce in June after 24 years of marriage. Young has since claimed that she owns some of Dre’s most profitable trademarks, including his stage name and his 1992 classic album, The Chronic. The former NWA member and his legal team have vehemently denied these claims, pointing to a prenuptial agreement that Young says is void.

Additionally, lawyers for Dre recently accused Young of siphoning over $350k from Record One recording studios, a company that she and Dre founded in 2015. The restrictions of the pandemic will likely continue to stall the finalization of this divorce, especially if parties involved are adamant about social distancing themselves away from the courtroom.

Gucci Mane and Jeezy To Host Verzuz After-party In Atlanta

Gucci Mane and Jeezy hosting a Verzuz after-party in Atlanta.

The trap Super Bowl of the South is definitely on for this Thursday, November 19, as Gucci Mane and Jeezy face-off in season 2 of Swizz Beatz and Timbaland’s Verzuz competition. The availability of security during the actual battle is one of the top questions being asked in the comment sections of posts announcing the battle.

That question has become even more relevant after it was revealed that both rappers would be hosting an actual afterparty in ATL following the streaming event. The Compound Nightclub in Atlanta, where the part will be hosted, broke the news on their Instagram page a few days ago.

The concerns are quite real, especially when one considers that the bad blood between the men ran pretty deep and was marked by tragic human losses. Things were definitely bigger than hip hop in the early 2000s when both men were coming up and Freddie Gibbs, Jeezy’s former associate turned enemy, reminded people the Verzuz battle is truly something un-street-like. “@jeezy n***a smoked yo partner and u bout to sit in the room and do a verzuz wit him. Don’t talk no street shit to me fam,” wrote Gibbs on Twitter. Gucci Mane hinted at the past as well when he shared a meme referencing the past casualty while trolling Jeezy.

A post shared by Compound Night Club (@compoundatl)

Clearly, Jeezy has his reasons for getting in the ring with Gucci, and some fans believe that along with showing his growth as a human being, he’s also using it to promote his new and upcoming album Recession 2. He recently dropped “Therapy For My Soul” from the project on which he speaks about his issues with Freddie Gibbs and 50 Cent.

Will you be in ATL tomorrow to check out the battle and the subsequent afterparty? We really do hope that security is on point at the latter since both men may have gotten past the issues, but that doesn’t mean their die-hearted fans have.

Trippie Redd Trolls Jay-Z For His Weight On IG, Hov Spotted Working Out On The Beach

Trippie Redd found humor in Jay-Z’s weight after the rap titan was spotted working out on the beach.

American rapper Jay-Z is living proof that no matter how steady your bank account is, it’s really the health of your body that is most important. While the rapper did not make an official statement on that topic, a few recent photos of him working out on the beach backs this theory. Sadly for Jay, fame, and money also make you a pretty easy target, and trolls proceeded to fat-shame the rapper while commenting on a few recent photos of him snapped while he was spending some time in Hawaii. One unlikely troll who popped up below a post on Dj Akademiks’ post surrounding Jay-Z’s spotting was 21-year old Trippie Redd.

Trippie hopped into the comments to pen “444 pounds.” The comment took a shot at Jay-Z weigh and clearly protruding mid-area while referencing the legend’s thirteenth studio album 4:44, which was released in 2017. We are unsure of how Jay will take the snob from Trippie. After all, HOV is not known for taking his disrespect lightly; just ask his one-time friend Kanye West. If he does take offense, Trippie could possibly have ruined his chances of connecting with a legend and music mogul. Jay’s supporters got in on Redd for his comment while pointing out that he could lose a bit of weight himself.

Just how did a photo of someone jogging make the news when millions of people, including celebs, do it every day? Well, this is the mysterious HOV that we are talking about.

It’s pretty hard to catch the rapper out and about, and to top it off, and the 50-year-old doesn’t seem to have the time or least bit of interest in social media. This makes almost any spotting a memorable one, and this one was no different.

Spice Claps Back At Haters Calling New Relationship Fake & For Love & Hip Hop

Spice is on a Baecation rampage as she enjoys her week off with Justin Budd, her new beau, as the two celebrated his birthday in Mexico.

Spice’s fans, however, think it’s all a gimmick as the artiste has been known to pull off some convincing publicity stunts in the past. Could this be one of her publicity stunts for her music career or her appearance on reality TV show Love & Hip Hop Atlanta?

Spice, however, says this is the real deal, no gimmick or publicity. In a video post on Instagram, the Love&Hip Hip star says, “this personal little video is for the people in the back who thinks all this is just a stunt for music video. Watch to the end the kiss is just for you. This real ova yah so. Watch kiss up.”

She added, “Grace is on vacation and Spice will be back Thursday.”

In the comments section, her beau, Justin, spares no kisses as he posts heart eyes and kissy faces. In the video, Spice is seen wearing a sexy Versace one piece as she says, “watch pool bar, watch man, watch Rasta, watch Versace ova yah so, watch lace wig ah liff up,” to the guffaws from her man. “Watch black love ova yah so, watch kiss,” Spice says as kisses Justin.

Many fans think that the relationship might be a stunt for Spice’s role in WH1’s Love & Hip Hop. The show is currently postponed due to the covid-19 pandemic in the United States. The Atlanta edition of the show – concluded its 9th season in March of 2020. There’s no news on whether there will be a season 10, but some speculations say March 2021 might be the season 10 premiere date. Love & Hip Hop Atlanta is among the most lucrative of the shows and is unlikely to be canceled.

Spice, who is among the lead stars, is expected to make a comeback on the show. The show also teased that a couple of new faces from Atlanta’s hip hop scene will join the show. Is Justin Budd one of those people? We’ll have to wait and see, but it seems that fans of Spice would not be disappointed by Budd, who is an eye candy and who they have all started following on social media.

Budd had only about 5k followers before Spice tagged him in the first initial post celebrating his birthday, but now he has 52.3k followers. Justin Budd has posted several videos and photographs of him and the So mi like it artiste, captioning one “my girl is better than yours!” with the hashtag #BlackLove. We’re here for it, stunt or not!

Saweetie Clarifies What Her Birkin Comments Really Meant

Saweetie’s name has become synonymous with Birkin bags due to her recent comments, but just what exactly did she mean?

Everyone saw the Icy Girl lose her mind when boyfriend Quavo gifted her two of the famous Hermés handbags at her birthday party, so it’s safe to say that she is a fan. The bags cost a pretty penny, with prices starting around $10,000, yet Saweetie has an idea about how to get on. “If he not getting you a Birkin, if he not paying for your bills, then throw that n**** back to the streets, okay,” she said during an Instagram Live with Quavo.

The comments sparked a fierce debate, and even Yaya Mayweather and Offset got in on it, with the pregnant rapper calling out some Birkins being carried about as copies, claiming that it is not so simple to purchase them, while the Migos star stated that Yaya didn’t know what she was talking about. Now Saweetie is clarifying what she meant in that infamous IG Live many moons ago.

“My sentiments behind that were just, you know, spoil your girl,” the ‘Tap In,” rapper said during an interview with Brooklyn White of Girls United. “Spoil her with your loyalty, your energy, and how you treat her,” Saweetie revealed to Essence, however, that it is not solely about the luxury bag. “For me, a Birkin is symbolic of a gift. So to people coming in, talking about, ‘Oh, I’m going to get my girl property,’ why don’t you get her property and a Birkin.”

Hopefully that settles that.

Furan – Rogue Lyrics

Degenerate, just degenerate

Free your life
Another sad sentiment
Becoming a part of my body
There is no future
I melt away

The noise feels like a drill in my eardrums
f*ck your shit, don’t even wanna’ be here
To hell with you

I’m not your friend
(My prison grew wings)
I’m not your friend
(The sky lights my way)
I’m not your friend
(No, never was)
I’m not your friend
(And never will be)

I’m not looking for appreciation
Decomposition has been rewarding enough

Free your life
Another sad sentiment

Becoming a part of my body
There is no future
I melt away
I’m not your friend
(My prison grew wings)
I’m not your friend
(The sky lights my way)
I’m not your friend
(No, never was)
I’m not your friend
(And never will be)

I’m not your friend
I’m not your friend
Walk alone now
Hear the stars weep

I’ll always be with you
I’ll always stand by your side
I won’t leave you alone
So I make sure you’re hurt and hopeless
And suffer in misery
Till you die
Till you die

Adriana Evans – Waiting Lyrics

So long
No way no way no way no way
So long

Baby when you hold me in your arms, Wondering how I seem so far away
I realized that you don’t know the cost
Of a broken heart but there’s a price to pay

Waiting there for you honey (no way no way no Way no way) so long

I’m not the same one
That girl you use to know
It’s not the woman that you see
But I’d like to know did she seem so naïve
That you would think her love would be
Waiting there for you
So long

Waiting there for you baby (no way, no way no Way No way) so long
Waiting there for you honey (no way no way no Way no way) so long
Waiting there for you baby (no way no way no Way no way) so long

Such a shame to have to watch you lie

And you know I and still you play the game
It’s a one way conversation now when it
Seems that all your words just sound the Same

So don’t waste your time, like you’ve been Wasting mines
You can’t afford to make believe. If you have Others
Give them a call tonight, and maybe one of them will be

Waiting there for you baby
So long (no way no way no way no way)
Waiting there for you honey (no way no way no Way no way) so long
Waiting there for you darlin'(no way no way no Way no way) so long
Waiting there for you honey (no way no way no Way no way) so long
Waiting there for you (no way no way no way No way) so long
I’ve waited there for you (no way no way no Way no way) so long

Ak – Family Tree Lyrics

[Intro]
Think about where all your inspiration
Comes from, is he from your generation?
If he's not I'm sure you probably hate it
But ask yourself, would you have even made it?

[Chorus]
If it wasn't for him
And everybody else before him
And before him
And before him
'Cause you would never make it
If it wasn't for him
And those before him
And before him
And before him (Haha)

[Verse 1]
Yeah, yeah
I am AK, I am not the next Em
But everybody telling me that I'm the next him
But understand there will never be a next Em
You'll probably twist my words and say I don't respect him
I always preach to keep it real so I'm about to now
Em did not influence me 'cause I was not allowed
To listen to 'em, my parents said I was just a child
I wondered why and I look back and I got it now
My young mind back then probably wasn't ready
To hear the shit that he talked about, they said he was too edgy
I couldn't listen to anything, younger me he was begging
I couldn't wait to hear the song about his momma's spaghetti
His influence on me was indirect
'Cause I was listening to Hopsin, I was obsessed
I come to find he was the same way when it came to Em
That's when it hit me this culture's a family tree
And this shit affects the whole game
From the beginning 'til I'm hitting old age
'Cause even after when I'm gone, kids come up with more flames
And artists feed the industry with songs that bring 'em more rage
'Cause they just hate the fact the era of sound's evolving
But where would they be?
[Chorus]
If it wasn't for him
And everybody else before him

And before him
And before him
'Cause you would never make it
If it wasn't for him
And those before him
And before him
And before him (Haha)

[Verse 2]
Once Cole became my idol I was looking for his
Found out Nas was the reason that he did what he did
So I was looking up his classics try'na find all his hits
To see what spoke to Cole, so I could grow even though I was a kid
Illmatic still classic, I feel that shit
Even though it dropped five years before the world had me
Shit was blessing the next king of this real rap shit
I don't hate the new generation though I love it
Let's make that clear, happy I got it off of my chest
Now the truth is out
Look, already I can see all the fans that I'm losing now
Just because I f*ck with Pump, Roddy Ricch and Lil' Uzi sound
If you don't like it then don't listen
It's simple I'm cruising 'round in the Civic
Just wondering on how it'd be if they listened
They'd see that they got it twisted and all these kids they been dissin' all this time have been gifted
I'm just minding my business
Shit I'm blind to the situation
I plead the fifth
The old must respect the new
The new must respect the old
If you a youngin' coming up but you've been hating on what's old
Do your homework, learn the game, watch the way this shit's evolved
Without the old, your biggest idol?
You would never even known
[Chorus]
If it wasn't for him
And everybody else before him
And before him
And before him
'Cause you would never make it
If it wasn't for him
And those before him
And before him
And before him (Haha)

Spinners – You’re The Love Of My Life Lyrics

[Verse 1]
It’s a blessing to have your hand to hold it
and it’s so wonderful knowing that you care
how could I make it through the day without you baby
you are the light that showed the way
when darkness clothed around me you found me

[Chorus]
And honey your the love of my life,
baby you’re my sweety my sugar and spice
you’re the love of my life
I’m living for your loving but I can’t get enough [x2]

[Verse 2]
Sometimes we have a fight but then we make up
and love is stronger than than it ever was before
just you and me against the world together baby
you are my jewel my precious pearl
a treasure true forever and ever

[Chorus]
And honey you’re the love of my life
baby you’re my sweety my sugar and spice
you’re the love of my life
I’m living for your loving but I can’t get enough no…
I’m living for your loving but I cant get enough

You’re the love of my life [x2]
I’m living for you’re loving but I can’t get enough
you’re the love of my life
baby you’re my sweety my sugar and spice
You’re the love of my life
I’m living for your loving but I can’t get enough
You’re the love of my life
baby your my sweety my sugar and spice
you’re the love of my life
I’m living for you’re loving but I can’t get enough

Spinners – We Belong Together Lyrics

We belong together
Sharing love forever

Where’s the love we said would never die
Is it gone and lost forever, forever more
We’ve had all the chances, you and I
There’s been no love no better, I wonder why

Let’s start our love anew
Oh, do what we’ve got to do
It’s got to be the way it was before
Before, ’cause

We belong together (Ooh, wee baby)
Sharing love forever

Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah

I’m not asking for the world
You were mine, we were together
It was oh, so sweet
There was true love all around
And there was an ending bitter
It was incomplete

Let’s start our love anew
Oh, do what we’ve got to do
It’s got to be the way it was before
Before, ’cause

We belong together (Ooh, wee baby)
Sharing love forever

Like hand and glove
We were made to love each other

We belong together
Sharing love forever

Since I met you
My life’s complete, baby

We belong together
Sharing love forever

Let me tell you, just you and me, girl
And love makes three, we’re together

We belong together
Sharing love forever

Baby, when life gets rough
We’ve love enough to make it
